i just think rudy’s gone. i dont think he wants to be a grizzly anymore and i hate to say that but its reality imo. i think he’s probably gonne be a sign and trade guy.

one thing that makes me think george will be there is he didnt work out for the griz the first time because he had a “promise”. why would he work out for them now if he still thought he was going top 11? just a thought

Udoh is a big reach at 6. If they’re gonna draft a big man, It’s most likey gonna be Monroe.

if i remember right, george was told he’d be working out as a SG….told bs, i know.

Rudy has stated to so many that he wants to lead this grizzlies team and doesn’t want to leave. IF a team gets stupid and gives rudy 13+ million…. he’ll be gone…and thus, if george is available….awesome.

i’m not on board of the “gay will be gone” train. but, should some team get stupid and overpay, i’ll miss him.

btw, rudy is RFA, memphis will match up to 12 mill imo…after that..ya, say goodbye

zero – from what i’ve been hearing Monroe was a complete disappointment in the workout with GS. he got manhandled and they dont want him anymore. now they want Udoh who i agree is a stretch but thats what i’ve been hearing

It’s the reality this summer with so many teams having massive amounts of cap space and so few studs to bid on.
Gay is an excellent player…. but he’s a knee injury away from being a bad contract once he signs a huge contract.

if you want my personal opinion…keep rudy…draft a pf 12/pg25/sf28 help. move sam young to back up SG for mayo.

or, keep gay, still move sam to back up SG, and trade our picks for a decent 8-10 selection.

sam seems undersized for backing up Rudy. as a career backup SF, he will have trouble with guys like anthony, durant, james, etc. he’s more of a SG sized man.

from what i’ve heard, brewer will probably leave to another team…. grizzlies’ main focus is rudy during the summer. Heisely is determined to keep rudy….really determined.

Man i was just thinking the same thing. I love talking about my Griz and no one seems to respect them no matter what they do. They always bring up the Pau trade or the Thabeet pick (i still have faith that Thabeet can turn into Thabeast). We’re close to being a contender and people hopefully will give us some respect

people who bring up the pau trade are not looking at the post-trade. we have marc gasol as a 4TH OPTION….and yet he averages almost 15ppg-10rpg-2apg-1.5bpg-1.5spg while shooting a mid/high 50’s%….. i really wish people would open their eyes on that 1……
