d-grizzlyParticipanti really don’t think george will be available at 12.

memphisgriz731Participantwhere do you see him going? btw way i sure hope he’s avaliable because he’s been killing it with the griz in their workouts
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 5:50pm #338175

d-grizzlyParticipantcan’t say i know where he’s going…but i doubt he’ll be available at 12. and yes, he is impressive. Problem though…we have gay already….

memphisgriz731Participanti just think rudy’s gone. i dont think he wants to be a grizzly anymore and i hate to say that but its reality imo. i think he’s probably gonne be a sign and trade guy.
one thing that makes me think george will be there is he didnt work out for the griz the first time because he had a “promise”. why would he work out for them now if he still thought he was going top 11? just a thought

ZeroParticipantUdoh is a big reach at 6. If they’re gonna draft a big man, It’s most likey gonna be Monroe.

memphisgriz731Participantif he does leave i hope we at least get something for him because thats a ton of talent just walking away
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 6:03pm #338188

d-grizzlyParticipantif i remember right, george was told he’d be working out as a SG….told bs, i know.
Rudy has stated to so many that he wants to lead this grizzlies team and doesn’t want to leave. IF a team gets stupid and gives rudy 13+ million…. he’ll be gone…and thus, if george is available….awesome.
i’m not on board of the “gay will be gone” train. but, should some team get stupid and overpay, i’ll miss him.
btw, rudy is RFA, memphis will match up to 12 mill imo…after that..ya, say goodbye

d-grizzlyParticipantgrizzlies can also do sign and trade…in case they are afraid to give up gay for nothing…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 6:05pm #338197

memphisgriz731Participantzero – from what i’ve been hearing Monroe was a complete disappointment in the workout with GS. he got manhandled and they dont want him anymore. now they want Udoh who i agree is a stretch but thats what i’ve been hearing

memphisgriz731Participanti hope they do a S&T. what do you think the market is for rudy? i’ve heard maybe darren collison and peja for rudy. i’ve also heard rudy straight up for Josh Smith

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantIt’s the reality this summer with so many teams having massive amounts of cap space and so few studs to bid on.
Gay is an excellent player…. but he’s a knee injury away from being a bad contract once he signs a huge contract.0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 6:10pm #338202

d-grizzlyParticipantif you want my personal opinion…keep rudy…draft a pf 12/pg25/sf28 help. move sam young to back up SG for mayo.
or, keep gay, still move sam to back up SG, and trade our picks for a decent 8-10 selection.

memphisgriz731Participantwhat about ronnie brewer? i’m pretty sure heisley is set on keeping him. wont he back up mayo
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 6:16pm #338208

d-grizzlyParticipantsam seems undersized for backing up Rudy. as a career backup SF, he will have trouble with guys like anthony, durant, james, etc. he’s more of a SG sized man.
from what i’ve heard, brewer will probably leave to another team…. grizzlies’ main focus is rudy during the summer. Heisely is determined to keep rudy….really determined.

memphisgriz731Participantthat would kinda make me mad if ronnie left because we just spent a 1st round draft pick on a torn hamstring
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 6:17pm #338213

d-grizzlyParticipantit’s nice to converse with another grizzlies fan on here. there are a few of us on here…and none of them have gone balls outspoken on here….nor passionette to defend this young and upcoming team.

memphisgriz731ParticipantMan i was just thinking the same thing. I love talking about my Griz and no one seems to respect them no matter what they do. They always bring up the Pau trade or the Thabeet pick (i still have faith that Thabeet can turn into Thabeast). We’re close to being a contender and people hopefully will give us some respect
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 6:25pm #338220

d-grizzlyParticipantpeople who bring up the pau trade are not looking at the post-trade. we have marc gasol as a 4TH OPTION….and yet he averages almost 15ppg-10rpg-2apg-1.5bpg-1.5spg while shooting a mid/high 50’s%….. i really wish people would open their eyes on that 1……
i’m out for the night, good talkin mg731.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 6:27pm #338226

memphisgriz731Participanti agree man they got marc Darrell arthur 1 more 1st round pick and cap relief.
alright d-grizzly remember GO GRIZZLIES

Toronto16ParticipantI like it. Raptors get the man they covet, and Daniel Orton starting his career under the wing of Tim Duncan would do wonders for him.

Zeke33Participanti would love if Varnado, Stephenson and Gallon all went to Miami. However i highly doubt any of them except for gallon will be available
