    The Memphis Grizzlies have offered point guard Mike Taylor a contract following his workout with the team on Thursday, sources tell RealGM’s Alex Kennedy.

    Memphis also worked out Juan Dixon, Jason Hart, and Bo McCaleb. They planned to bring in Brevin Knight, Luther Head, and Tyronn Lue for workouts before extending the offer to Taylor.

    As a rookie last season, Taylor averaged 5.7 points and 2.1 assists with the Los Angeles Clippers.

    He’d be a solid 3rd PG behind Conley and M. Williams

    I think they;d be better off with Dixon or Knight..but I guess they;re aiming for youth

    They have alot of young players developing at PG now, and they all have ALOT to prove.

    Add some veteran experience. But I have to say I think Taylor does at least have some nice upside. He’ll end up being a nice pickup for some team, but i don’t know if Memphis is the best spot.

    is a player who can dunk out this world. he also can take it to the basket. i think hes a good 3rd option in the league.

    despite the Clippers idiotically waiving a talented PG like him…He will still find an NBA team… The Grizzlies will not regret this… They will have an energy guy coming off the bench… Who knows, he might top his 35 point performance last season and might do another sick windmill dunk… Wait… The Grizzlies were the victims of his sick windmill last season right? OOOOOhhh, how ironic!

    Taylor is a SG trapped in a PG’s body! Theres a reason the Clippers let him go…Check out his Summer
    League performance…That Kylie McLarney from Norte Dame outplayed him and was getting just as many minutes as Taylors towards the end of summer league

    Taylor only knows one speed and thats fast,he dosent understand how to utilize change of pace!He has terrible court vision and his jump shot is still somewhat poor…He can get hot and score at will when hes on,but he dosent do a good job of looking for his team mates first.
