If they are the 1 versus 8 match up Memphis could beat them in the first round.

No Duncan, no Ginobli for half the game, those 2 make a huge difference. This goes to show how important Duncan really is. If they don’t come back for the playoffs I can see some surprises in this series. If they are completely recovered, no chance.

Nevertheless, the grizz are playing great and we’re not so far from the 6th seed. No one is afraid of the Mavs in the playoffs and we beat them in the season series

Regular season and playoffs are different but it might go 6 or 7 with the Spurs pulling it out

Last time they didn’t have Parker. But like andxxx said, playoffs are different.

Also, I always try to be pessimistic, so that when my team wins I’m happy and when they lose I’m not disappointed.

playoffs are different but i still think Memphis can knock this off. Memphis is young and deep.

I can’t see Memphis pulling off the upset, but they can push the Spurs much harder than they probably want to be.

I think Memphis can take it to 6 or 7 games as long as they play defense. I like this Memphis team. They’re playing great team ball and are playing with confidence. I like what Tony Allen has brought to the team.

That is true but are you saying that Spurs will be better in the playoffs.  If that is the case Spurs 60 something wins means nothing but right now they are old banged up and are going against a younger and possilbly more talented team

Parker versus Conley(Parker edges out Conley)

Ginobli versus Tony Allen(injured Ginobli versus surging Tony Allen is about even since Allen is a lock down defender who has been scoring lately)

Jefferson versus Battier/Young(This is about even because despite his talent Jefferson is so so and Battier is a vet that makes key plays)

Blair verus Randolph(Randolph despite Blair awesome play he is not better than Randolph)

Duncan verus Gasol(injured and old Duncan versus Marc Gasol I really want to give Gasol the egde but I will say equal for now)

Hill versus Mayo(As long as Mayo continue to play well off the bench this is equal but Hill is the better player right now to me but off the bench they bring close to the same thing stat wise)

Rest of Bench( I give Spurs the edge on this one but with Young legs, Memphis does not have to go their bench much except at 2 positions possibly 3 with vets who know what they are doing coming in )
