Lotto StudParticipantESPN reports
“Anthony I want to be a free agent. I think everybody in the NBA dreams to be a free agent at least one time in their career. It’s like you have an evaluation period, you know. It’s like if I’m in the gym and I have all the coaches, all the owners, all the GMs come into the gym and just evaluate everything I do. So yes, I want that experience.”– Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony

HobbyOGParticipantI think it’s NY or the Lakers, I read Kobe has been courting him, he has a house and LA and his wife loves LA because of her career.

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantMavs had the chance on LeBron, Melo, Howard, Bosh, Deron Williams, Andrew Bynum, Chris Paul, Josh Smith, …….Kwame Brown, Brian Scalabrine, DJ Mbenga, Tim Tebow, Tiger Woods…. but for whatever reason you can’t land a legit all-star to help dirk. I’ll bet my girlfriend Mavs will not be able to sign Melo again.

raybeasParticipantto all the teams that can afford him. Any other team will have to give up something to have him join them. Do you think he’ll take less than the max to join a contender? I don’t.

BloodFoLyfeAll I have to say is Houston. Omer Asik isn’t really needed now that Howard is there with the system they run .We have seen Howard make it to the the NBA finals with a wing playmaker , 3 point shooting, and a stretch 4. They have a wing playmaker in Harden, Carmelo would be the ultimate stretch 4 for Dwight. Portland and L.A comes to mind also but the fit with the rockets is interesting. They move lin( linsanity is over ) and asik maybe even more in multi team trade make sure they keep parsons and Beverley there straight. I don’t see him resigning for “MORE MONEY” he want the ship so if he sayings he wants to be a free agent hes leaving for sure we have seen golden state obtain iggy for pennies on the dollar they pulled that move out of nowhere. Houston has multiple assets Melo would sign off on a trade plus with the power systems changing on the west Houston could be a top player in the playoffs if he came for the next 5 to 6 years.
Knick fans iIm sorry Mr Anthony is well of in cash he wants to win it all or atleast make it to the finals he isn’t doing this in New York so ….0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/17/2013 - 12:24pm #843970
