This means Orlando is going to go after Bass really hard now. San Antonio and LA the only ones really making impact moves in the west.

Orlando needs to pickup a couple of free agents bad because they have no depth.

Eastern conference Champs. They went 7 games with Boston without their best player. They will not beat Boston next year, they were lucky to last year.

I think they are the two best teams in the east and I could see it going either way. Boston gets KG back and signed Wallace. Orlando gets Jameer back and brought in VCarter and RAndersen who should both really fit in well. Also, with Hedo and Lee both gone, I expect a big year from Pietrus.

I’ve never liked the Spurs as a team, but I can’t deny the fact that they consistently make great moves/decisions. I have a lot of respect for their front office. I love what they’d done with their roster, starting with the draft. If Manu & Timmy are healthy, they will challenge the Lakers.

San Antonio Has Had The Best Off-Season…..It All Started With The Draft When They Got A Steal In Dejuan Blair, they then traded For richard jefferson…..Now Mcdyess. They Are Western Conference Bound For Sure, they will Then Battle The Lakers In What I Think Will Be A Epic Battle to the Finals

Hell yes the Magic should be going after Glen Davis but to be honest I think their pride is getting in the way. I think they don’t want to sign him because he played for their rivals (Celtics) and hit that game winning shot against them.

Haslip was a solid pickup. The Spurs have definitely had a great offseason.

I thought it all started with the Richard Jefferson trade and then the drafting of Blair. No biggie, just getting some facts straight. I know no one else seems to pay attention (or not care), but the signing of Marcus Haislip was a big move for them as well. Obviously he is going to lose some minutes now, but this guy is going to be a great role player in the NBA, he has improved greatly since his first tour in the NBA.

I hope injuries don’t get in the way for the Lakers and Spurs because it would be an unbelievable Western Conference match-up if these two teams get there.

Lastly, shouldn’t the Magic be going after Glen Davis now instead of Bass?

Well if the Lakers can pick up Artest, then the Magic should have no worries in picking up Davis. They need to swallow that pride and offer him what they can. I’m sure the Pistons are going strong after him as well.

If I were the Magic, I would sign him under the conditions that he wouldn’t push any kids out of the way after hitting a game winning shot.

Big move for the Spurs. They could use some help at guard now. Just in case Ginobili battles injuries again.
