Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Dallas Mavericks hav signed free agent forward Al Harrington to a contract….terms of the deal has not been disclosed

Another good pick up for the Mavs. They have a pretty good and deep roster.

Gives them a combo-forward who can score it off the bench. As I think about it, Mike Beasley is just like Al Harrington. Minnesota should take notes and use Beasley the same way Harrington has been used over the past few years.

I think they should’ve made the Al Jefferson deal..He would’ve gave them that post presence they really need…They added Chandler but he’s not a post player..

I agree with both of you. I think they would have taken Al Jefferson over Al Harrington, looks like it didn’t work out though.

dallas is gonna be a contender. They threw marion and caron butler and brendan haywood all together last year and they didnt seem to really all find their rythm. They are deep and have more experience together now.

Al Harrington is without a doubt a decent consolation prize…I think he’ll play the antawn jamison role that AJ played a few years back (25 mins off bench can play the 3 or 4)
