 Croatia just beat host country Czech republic 67-57 to capture gold in that tournament.  Second year in a row for the Croatians to win gold at the FIBA tournaments.  I watched all 9 games (and victories) by MARIO HEZONJA and the Croatian National team at this link…http://www.lshunter.tv/

Mario finished with 21 pts 7 rebs 2ast and 1 stl on 9-21 shooting however and 2-10 from three point range.

This game was symbolic of what I have seen from Hezonja thus far in his short career.  He can score points, but can be inconsistent shooting the ball at times.  In the first half he had 16 points on 7-12 shooting, second half he didnt do so well.

He did have a great overall tournament however, with averages of 20 pts 6 rebs and 3 ast on his way to capturing MVP of the tournament.

In the championship game I just watched he had a break away windmill jam that caught me off guard…lol.  He also displays a very nice dribble drive step back jumper (from 3 point range as well) that can be very deadly at times.
