Anyways fellas, I haven’t been active since 8/21 (which in NBAdraft.net time is like 8 months and Aamir time it’s like 10 years)… I’ve been busy. Got myself a big boy job now in at a firm in the city and I’m always too tired after work to sign on here. The commute is kind of bad actually. [One side note I learned quickly….these kind of jobs (finance, accounting, risk, etc) are all about making friends but keeping your guard up. They will act nice but as soon as something goes down, they’ll go M.I.A and pretend not to know you. It’s a damn shame actually, so I’m usually quiet most days because I don’t want anything I say to be used against me] I have been checking on my phone on the site here and there and it looks relatively quiet except for some new trolls… oh and the return of J-Nix! What up bro!! I wonder if anyone noticed I was gone? I wonder if NoMoney is still around? I wonder how Y2G can manage to have a successful rap career, compete for a title, and still find time to post? I wonder if McDunkin is recruiting for MMA? I wonder if MikeyV has seen this AWESOME video starring his Ducks! 

Now time for my favor MCDUNKIN! I miss the off-topic BASED World Order and your usual McDunkin’ GIFs/jokes/posts. I have a favor to ask. At work, we use this mediocre email system (LotusNotes) and an instant messager called SameTime. Now, every once in a while, I get a couple of minutes to talk to some people and I always use a lot of emoticons. Well I found out that I can use pictures as emoticons in those IMs. Soooooooooooooooooo I was requesting if you could make a post with all those NBA faces (like the LeBron happy look, Chris Bosh face, Amare’s weird look, etc) that you always put up. Those are hilarious and I would like it to just have some fun. I mean, I sit there in a cubicle from 8:30-6 everyday so I need a little bit of humor once in a while Those emoticons suck. I’m trying to step my game up. If it’s a problem, then it’s all good but I swear your the only person who posts them with regularity. Take your time pal.

Well, thus ends my off-topic rant. Oh and the off-topic forum = DUNZO! I used to love the OT forum but these spammers have ruined it. They keep bumming it up and while its good to go through some of the old forums, their comments are just repeats of what was said earlier. It kind of ruins the classic OT feel that those posts used to have. Aight, I’m done y’all!

Was incredibly awesome, posted it on facebook in amazement, got 0 comments or likes from my NBADraft.net facebook friends. Not even McILikeEverything, who proceeded to ask me: On a scale of 1 to Based, how do you like the Ducks this year? I replied, "Based and a half, my friend", I believe. I would like them more, but we lost two starters for the season to injury and our defense has given up a lot of points to teams we should be destroying even more so. Still love them, Gangnam Style made me love them even more, just worried as always.

Glad you got a job and things seem to be going well. NoMoney has been MIA for a while, we definitely miss him, but he will always be NBADraft.net crew and a proud pioneer of what made this message board awesome. The Off-Topic forum has turned into an unfortunate disaster. I would still love for it to be active, because it was awesome when it was. Still, most days I need to go in and delete a bunch of SPAM. Have the ability to delete full posts, not replies and I can’t ban or delete posters. So, for the time being, it seems people are using the main board for everything, but I wish we could get the Off-Topic back. Maybe make a new one? Will discuss and see if something can happen.

I honestly do not know what is more annoying, the SPAM or the posts that just take a sentence of what someone wrote earlier. These guys are effing Buzz Killington, on some classic OT posts too. Well, hope all is well and definitely check in every once in a while. I still am hoping that by the time the season starts, we can have some kind of separation for basketball and OT stuff. Like the good ol’ days.
