ExumInfernoParticipantSome mock drafts, with and without team needs being used, have pick 3 to Phoenix and Buddy Hield at pick 3.
With Booker a great prospect already at shooting guard, plus big money to combo-guards Bledsoe and Knight, Suns can draft him but a trade would need to happen.
If it is Suns at 3, that could mean some fun draft night trades.
Any other teams where Buddy is a bad fit? From pick 3 to 10.

Hype MachineI’ve got a strong feeling that Phoenix is going to jump into the top 2…so I havent given it much thought.
Projected Draft Order
New Orleans at #1
Phoenix #2
Lakers #3
Philly #4

negguaryParticipantcare to share your logic on how this could tempt key become the draft order other than a conspiracy theory.

Memphis MadnessParticipantBut Booker at the 3? Keep Bledsoe. Trade Knight. Keep Buddy. Why not?
The Warriors made it ok to have two awesome snipers on the perimeter.

kazamParticipantBuddy is 22. Knight is 24.
When Knight was 22 he averaged 18 a game in the NBA.
Knight in 52 games this season averaged nearly 20 a game. I really don’t see trading Knight as any sort of solution. They can still draft Buddy if they want but I don’t think he is an immediate franchise changer by any stretch.

mercyman25ParticipantI think Buddy is Jamal Crawford, Knight is pretty much the same. I guess if the Suns find a buyer for knight drafting buddy would save them money on a sixth man. Also knight feels like he’s a starter so if Booker ends up taking his place as a starter he .at not accept it so well. Buddy on the other hand is a rookie so it isn’t like he is losing anything.
