Duncan played 34 minutes and shot 4-23 from the field. But wait.. the dude grabbed 26 rebounds! 11 of them being offensive. Even though they were most likely from all the misses he had, Tim Duncan really astonishes me how he attacks the glass. Just a few week ago, he grabbed a career high 27 rebs against the Hawks.

duncan has statistically been playing his best season ever… his minutes are down and his production is up…

Lol… He is also playing with a pretty good team that doesnt need him to do everything.. I mean Blair is helping inside along with McDyce, George Hill is just ballin.. And, Manu is healthy…

    Falling off.. Crazy..

wow negative 5 already? ANybody here who doesn’t think tim has been falling off is kidding themselves. I said he is still great. He is still an all-star. And i think he is the best big man in the game. But he is not capable of taking over games as frequently and he is no longer an mvp candidate. Why do you think the spurs are struggling this year? Why do you think the spurs lost in the first round last year? And yes, 20-10 can be considered falling off when you used to be the mvp opf the league and arguably the best big man to ever play the pf position.

exactly, it happens. Guys get older. You could argue kobe is falling off a little this year. Saying tim is falling off and then you telling me i’m crazy for thinking so but then admitting he is getting older it happens, so what are you saying exactly? Is he falling off or is he just as good as past seasons?

He cant take over anymore because he is older but he, statistically, isnt falling off. Your argument was the fact that he cant take over anymore.. Its because he is older.. He is still the same TD just doesnt take over games…

Perez has a point, hes still averaging good numbers, but hes not dominating games like he was capable of in his prime. Still great, but just not the “normal” Tim Duncan were used to seeing.

You guys can throw all the stats and numbers at me you want. Duncan is a very efficient player and always has been. He could get close to 20-10 by just crawling out of bed. But he used to be a mvp and just take over games on a regular basis. If you think that becasue he is still getting 20-10 that means he’s the same, then let’s say i really disagree. Just look at the spurs record and how they have been doing in th eplayoffs if you want to see if duncan is still the same.

I have a hard time saying, “he’s fallen” off. When I think about falling off, I think about Iverson and KG…

Kobe falling off no way, he’s the greatest ever and should be MVP every year.
