CavFanPRParticipantSelden was once considered a lottery prospect. To see him go undrafted is kind of a shocker to me.

MopgrassParticipantI’m a little surprised by Cat Barber, Gary Payton, Jarrod Uthoff, Robert Carter, Roscoe Allen, and Sheldon McClellan. I think some of those guys could have been high 2nd rounders. I’m some were almost picked. There was a report about how specific teams considered and almost took Skal and Deyonta in the lottery, but ultimately passed. Sometimes a some unexpected moves by other teams changes careers. These dudes weren’t so lucky.

Arc12345ParticipantWayne Selden not getting drafted is shocking to me. I might take some flack for this, but if we’re being honest…how much better is Ben Mclemore than Wayne Selden? He might be better, but I can’t say that he’s so much better than Ben deserved to get drafted and Selden didn’t.
I can’t believe teams passed on Cat Barber, that is unbelievable to me. Still wouldn’t be surprised to see him start somewhere one day.
I wasn’t a huge GPII guy, but surprised no one took a flier on him. I think Robert Carter, Brennan Greene, and Yogi Ferrel also have places in the NBA. Could also see Roscoe Allen developing into something along the lines of Chandler Parsons. I really like Jay Layman, but was he truly that much better than Roscoe Allen? I don’t think so.
Witjler has that guaranteed contract for 3 years with the rockets right? At least that’s what someone posted here.

Arc12345ParticipantI’m now excited to see who puts in work in the summer league (whether they were drafted or not) and proves they truly deserved to be drafted last night. Let the summer league begin.

BlueRivers25ParticipantSaw that the Knicks signed Marshall. I think that can be a good situation for him.
That makes 3 Plumlee in the NBA, 3 with NCAA rings, and 3 with a Duke degree.

HitsterParticipantPoythress was all over many major mocks for the last few years but still wasn’t taken – he will play for Magic in Summer League and should get a few training camp invites so maybe still stands a chance of making a roster.
I wonder if any of the guys on the list above will make rosters and some 2nd round drafted guys won’t

TrillaParticipantI really think he is going to be a role player in this league. He has good size, defensive ability, competitiveness, and showed the ability to make 3s last season. I heard a knee injury hurt his stock close to the draft. I remember before his freshman season people said he was the best player in Kansas practices ahead of Wiggins. I’m not saying that he will be that type of player, but i really see him as a 3 and d role player. I’d love to see him with philly summer league team because it’s a roster he could make and probably play next season. If not I hope he finds a team that will give him a shot, I want to see his uncle in the stands
