Lotto StudParticipantDid anyone other then me happen to catch LeBron sit with Melo on Sports Center & comment to the media about Melo’s meeting with Prokhorov & Jay-Z?
He has some nerve to comment o someone elses sh*t when he had everyone in a limbo all last year.
"How does Melo know where he is gonna go, he knows just as little as you do, yall are the ones putting the info out there"-LeBron
If I recall right LeBron knew as much as the media last year because everyone thought he was going to New York instead of Miami.
LeBron never knows when to keep his mouth shut, you don’t hear Amare` speaking on the sh*t.
What are yall thoughts on LeBron’s 2 cents????????

BKKnicksfanParticipantI honestly never saw someone catch more heat for being honest. As far as I’m concerned, LeBron’s the best basketball player in the NBA and can say whatever he want about anything NBA. I won’t agree with it all time, but he can say whatever. I don’t care.
Edit: It’s even more stupid if anyone had a problem with it because he said what we are all thinking. If you have a problem with it, you have to be a loser (not you Tyga, anyone who has a problem with it)

Lotto StudParticipantI’m not angry but who is LeBron to speak on something when he was way worse off then Melo. He had to hold a press conference for the WORLD to see his decision like he was a HS prospect going to college. LeBron probably gave ESPN more views then any Super Bowl that day. I think Melo can hold his own, he is going about things the right way throughout the whole ordeal. He is a Nugget & carries himself like a Nugget. Not one time has he swayed his words to the media, Melo has been very respectful to the Nuggets fans & organization. I really would hate to see Melo get bashed "if" he leaves Denver.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantBut isn’t LeBron telling the truth? He was just asked a simple question and he gave a simple answer.
"How does Melo know where he is gonna go, he knows just as little as you do, yall are the ones putting the info out there"
How is he lying? How is he hurting Melo by saying anything?
So because LeBron did something the wrong way, his rights of freedom of speech are revoked?
Some fans just try to find any reason to rip the best player in the NBA. LeBron James.

– But that’s not LeBron’s fault. To be real, why do we hold college decisions anyway?

– I can’t comment on the LeBron/ESPN thing. However, Melo has not handled this well AT ALL. He should be bashed. At least LeBron left as a FA. Carmelo waited untl 5 weeks before the season to ask for a trade when he knew he wanted one during the season. Then you SAY you want to sign a extension with a certain set of teams. Then, when your on TV and they ask you about the extension, you say "It’s outta my hand" like, when does a 26 year old MAN not have his business like that?
He looks weak in all this to me.

Lotto StudParticipantI never said I dislike LeBron I just don’t like how he goes about things at times, he contradicts himself a lot. Why hold a press conference to let everyone know where you are going? Why say there should be teams elimintaed from the NBA? Why say Karma is a bitch when Cleveland got blew out & cover it up? LeBron’s biggest problem is he makes himself bigger than the game itself.

flyboyParticipantHe could say no comment, but this answer isn’t really eye raising. As for how Carmelo is handling this, I just think it’s funny he’s playing stupid when he knows damn well what’s going on. I do respect that he hasn’t completely thrown Denver under the bus, publicly.

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant1. I agree his "Decision" was brought about the wrong way. He shouldn’t have done it the way he did.
2. Why can’t he talk about contraction? He’s an NBA player right? If anything, I would like the NBA players to be knowledgeable about what is being talked about around the league. I’d rather have an educated player that knows about his work place than somebody that is completely clueless. I have NO idea how this bothers you whatsoever.
3. Why say karma’s a b!tch? Well why did Dan Gilbert have to make a letter that completely RIPPED LeBron? Why does everyone completely rip LeBron every day? Why are there people like you that try to point out EVERY flaw he has? Why do you try to nitpick anything he says and try to make it front page news? People talk. LeBron talks. We all talk. So why are you bothered by the fact that he said that? He has every right to say it, especially how Cleveland fans and the Cavaliers organization treated him after he made a business decision.

meisi4Participanti think lebron is 100% the best player in the leauge and his game is great!
but after that whole limbo action last year and "the decison" i am just not a lebron fan anymore… sad but i agree that he sometimes doesn´t know what he says… i can´t hear the melodrama anymore and i guess most nba players as well but after the lebron egomania last year he should be the last one to comment….

Mr. 19134ParticipantMeanwhile….Kobe Bryant is having his hands permittable cemented into the ground and then throwing an Ultra-Exclusive Hollywood Party themed in Japanese and you have to be searched and checked extensively just to get near him.
I think LeBron is still one of the most down to earth stars who stills has a humble appeal to himself as compared to how bright his star actually shines it’s surprising. Like even Melo got an inflated value of self with this whole scenario.
Yeah LeBron had the decision but who aired it? ESPN. The World Wide Leader In Sports. And raise your hand if you didn’t watch the decision or you didn’t wanna find out where he was going first…..exactly.
What’s the difference between the decision and ESPN airing national letter of intent day, and having one player verbally commit to one college only to withdrawel and tell a live audience where they are going?

Mr. 19134ParticipantNo Lebron had the option to actually go to each city, remember New York planning that outrageous welcoming party only to have to ditch it and actually make a last minute pitch to Lebron about how he could help their BASKETBALL TEAM which was like the last thing on New Yorks mind at the time. And by all account the Knicks failed miserabley in their pitch. Lebron made all the teams come to him in. He already been to every city in the NBA that has a team so why would he need to go their. He focused strictly on basketball, and the fact he didn’t need to visit Miami before remmebering it had a beach. The only thing he should of did different was announce he wasn’t coming back to Cleveland first and then leave it up in the air on where he would sign.
It’s a shame that the Clippers play in the same building as Kobe and for that reason never had a real chance at Lebron because could you imagine the Blake n Bron show?

NYK2010ParticipantLebron probably realized how stupid he would look if he visited every city thats one thing he did right. He knew for years he’d leave for Miami. Since the decision people act like Lebron isn’t entitle to do say anything get over it.
Also it seems like Mello told the Nuggets what teams he was willing to be sign an extension with. If Denver never started the negotiations with the Nets we wouldn’t be hearing so much about these rumors since the offseason. Many believe that Denver bought up the rumors with Bynum and the Lakers and the Lakers shot them down right away. Most teams know that Mello isn’t going to sign an extension with them already but Denver has exhausted all these trades and of course its in the media all the time. How many different teams did we hear about Mello being traded to the Magic, Hornets, Rockets, Bulls, Bobcats, Warriors, Nets, Lakers.

Mr. 19134ParticipantThe Melo rumors are out of control I can’t ever remember the same rumors swirling around this long the trade to the Knicks and Nets are being reported now like they aren’t the same exact trades from the offseason we heard about.
And I remember when Deion Sanders did it in football it was a circus and that was in the 90’s for a cornerback.
