Las Vegas Summer League Complete Day 1 Breakdown

    http://www.beforethescore.com/las-vegas-summer-league.html

Jordan Clarkson – The Missouri wing is going to be a steal for the Lakers. He will find a role as a backup this season with some upside. He had 21 points, 4 reb, 3 ast, 2 stls on 7-15 shooting. We like his game and will keep close tabs.

Andrew Wiggins – Wiggins dropped 18 points on 18 shots with 3 reb, 1 stl, and 1 blk. Wiggins looked like he belonged in the NBA with some nice mid-range jumpers and big dunks. He was 1-8 from three and did have 4 fouls. You can see the talent Wiggins possesses but he will get in a lot of foul trouble this season and needs to improve his shot. The positives will outweigh the negatives though.

Jabari Parker – Our odds on favorite to win rookie of the year Parker had 17 points on 11 shots (we love that), 9 reb, and 1 stl. Parker was very efficient which is great to see at his age. Parker is what we like to call a lock.

It’s crazy how he performs well in Summer League play, to show and prove those wrong for passing him up in the First Round. Quite a few memebers on the site, were outraged at the fact Aran "led" us on to a player that should have been in the First Round but slid tremendously. I bet they eat those words now from the backlash.

james mcadoo has been impressive..his defense and energy is exactly what the warriors need….

i thought clarkson was going to be a 1st rounder….he was rated as a lottery pick by alot of people during the early part of the season….

those 2nd round and undrafted guys might be disappointed by not getting the guarantee of a first round contract..but guys like parsons prove if you play well you might be better off than the 1st rounders….

Gary Harris 33 pts looks like the steal of the draft. He scored in every way imaginable. I was really surprised whe the Wolves and the Hawks passed on him and even more suprised the Suns did.

TJ Warren looked really good also. He just knows how to play. He is in a great situation with the Suns.
