D HampParticipantNobody is talking about Larry Hughes that you almost forget he’s in the NBA!
If I’m Larry and playing for the Knicks, I’ll put up 20 shots a night and get 25 points. People forget how good he is.
Heck, Gilbert Areans owes him half of his check. Larry Hughes was the man and number 1 scoring option in Washington. At the time, Gilbert (who I have been a fan of since his Arizona days) was the number 3 scoring option.
Had Larry Hughes never left the Wizards and taken a 6yr $48 million contract from Cleveland, Arenas never would have had a chance to shine.
Look for Larry to be Comeback Player of the Year.
Dhamp…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

Knicksboy34ParticipantI dunno. Elton Brand?

JNixonParticipantI dont think he is the comeback player of the year. He doesnt try on D anymore (which will more than likely get worse playing for D’Antoni), and he settles for too many jumpers. Its almost like his athleticism is completely zapped, he has looked alot less explosive since he left Washington.

sheltwon3ParticipantLarry Hughes may come off the bench. If Knicks grab Sessions and with Lee, Chandler, and Harington Starting. I dont know if it is a definite that Hughes get that final spot especially if Knicks can also sign Iverson for a one year deal.

bkballerParticipantEddy curry comeback player of the year, the guy deserves a free pass for being fat and out of shape because of all the things that happened to him off the court. However this is his last chance to prove he can be a valuable player in this league or his career is pretty much over. Expect like 15-16 pts ans 7-8 rebounds from him this year and most likely a trade in the middle of the season.

adjose5Participanti like larry hughes and i think he’s gong to get loose under D’Antonis offense. I can easily see him averaging 20 a game, 25 shots tho??? haha, sure why not….he’s still relatively young so i hope he can resurrect his career and stay healthy

GreenLanternParticipantThe easy money is on Brand or T-Mac if one can stay healthy for 2.3 seconds.
