RUDEBOY_ParticipantAm i the only person surprised by Fields winning this award?
Wall has averaged 18 points 8 assists and 2 steals a game..Fields averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds…
Some say the reason Fields edged out Wall for the award was becuz ,he started and played in all 19 games for the Knicks..While Wall was sidelined and missed 6 games during that stretch..
Wall had high praised Fields for winning the award, saying he felt that Fields deserved it becuz the Knicks were winning..Even though Wall said all the right things, you can tell he was shocked by the outcome of the voting as were alot of other people….

sheltwon3ParticipantI guess if they are going off who has the best record than Fields deserves it. Wall has been hurt so I am not sure if he should have gotten it.

delfamParticipantit’s not like Fields is the focal point of that offense though, he’s probably there 4th option in the lineup while Wall is maybe the 1st or 2nd.

QuickPostAParticipantWall can’t win it EVERY month……the NBA probably took advantage of Wall sitting out a few games to let someone else win it for once……….and plus Fields has played WAY above his draft position

JJeff6ParticipantLandry Fields definitely deserved this. In the entire NBA, he is ranked 13th in field goal percentage. Hes had 5 double doubles. Obviously doing an outstanding job on the boards, and hes taking advantage of every shot he takes. Wall will get his fair share of these awards, but Landry deserved this one.

knicks82ParticipantThis was the right pick for the Knicks. I remember alot of people on here bashing the Knicks for not taking Lance Stephenson. If Landry can develope a consistent jumper he’s gonna be one hell of player for a long time.

JJeff6ParticipantHaha i remember i was upset the knicks took landry fields, because the suns already anounced to the AZ republic sports writers that they would select him with the 46th overall pick. I was bummed when he was chosen :/ but i applauded the knicks for the pick.
