valentineAfter last night’s games the Lakers have pulled within 4 of the Spurs with 9 games to play, one of which is a game against the Spurs. They have aslo pulled within a half a game of the Bulls for the second best record in the League. Before the Allstar break alot of people wrte them off as being too old and Kobe responded by telling all those people to Kiss his Azz lol. Anyway the next two games for the Spurs are gonna be tough ones against Portland and Boston and if all goes well for Laker fans they will lose both and the Lakers will win theres pulling them within 2 games. Houston could also cause them problems as well as the Suns so The Lakers could be looking at the number one seed as soon as Apr 4th is all goes well.
Chi Fans are also watching very closely and hoping the Lakers and Spurs start to stumble( as well as Dallas who is still not out of it since they are only a game behind the Lakers and Bulls)

Scottoant93ParticipantThe bulls are killing it lately, I thought they would be good but not this good, considering they don’t have a quality sg starter.

The lake show2I didnt think they would be that good either. You can win when one of you’re positions isnt very good. They have a nice rotation there of guys who each do something well. Brewer is athletic and a good defender, Korver is a very good shooter and spaces the floor, Bogans has a high basketball IQ is a vet and does a lil bit of everything .
Its gonna be interesting to see how they do in the playoffs because thats a whole different season

sheltwon3ParticipantLake Show, I think it would be better if Lakers stay number 2. Memphis could possibly knock off San Antonio in the first round. I want that match up. Memphis matches up well and is more athletic than Spurs. Spurs will not have enough time to heal against Memphis but if they get New Orleans without David West, Spurs could stick around. All Lakers need to do is beat Chi town. Spurs will lose and then Lakers would have home court in the entire playoffs.
Can you imagine if Bynum started out healthy for Lakers at the beginning of this season. Lakers are looking at a 60 win season at least and I think if Bynum has been healthy early on they win 10 more games.

sheltwon3ParticipantStill I am glad Bynum is healthy right now. Lakers have never had a healthy Bynum this late in the year.
