Grizzlies need to make a commitment to defense

I think having Mayo and Gay in the same unit is a terrible idea
Mayo undersized 2 needs his shots
Gay has yet to blossom while Granger attempted 7 3pointers a game last year

I’ll be honest I want Rudy Gay to be an All-Star
he is a bit slow (long arms) but he is super athletic mismatch at the 2 position.
I also think they should have drafted Dajuan Summers for defending 3s instead of Dermarre Carroll.
Summers is built like Lebron in case nobody read my other posts about him.
At the very least Summers would give a defensive boost

Mayo is only as good as how many shots he puts up
