NBATalk20098ParticipantOur cameras rolled, as LA Gear Director of Specialty Product Lance Jackson hosted a VIP mixer at the Las Vegas Hilton on August 1, with the full spectrum of Lights for men and women on display.
Since we’ve been getting emails and comments from fans all over the world asking when the Lights are coming out (November or December of ’09, as of this writing), we decided to give the video an international theme, so our friends across the globe could enjoy this very special preview. We hope you like it!

llperezi remeber the nba banned these back in the 90’s because they said the lights were a distraction. That’s some old school stuff right there. now if they would just bring back the reebok pumps and the convers react juices.

PureshooterParticipantIt’s interesting that they would try to bring this back. It would be kind of neat to see shoes with user optimized light patterns, or light patterns that occurred when you did something specific. Maybe a lighted meter that filled up based on how high you were jumping (measured by hang time from when both feet left the ground to when one foot touched back down).
