Stop_basketball_nonsenseParticipantVery good upgrade & pickup for the kings, he will be able to start or come of the bench. I thought new Orleans would have pushed for considering their center situation, or lack there of.

TRC1991ParticipantN.O. just resigned all of 3 their centers this offseason, shoeing over $220m.
Maybe you’re thinking of a different team

Magic JordanParticipantThis is who I wanted the Lakers to get. And they got him for a decent price. Koufos is a better player in my opinion than Roy Hibbert.

omphalosParticipantI’m surprised the Clippers didn’t go after him, given they have basically no C right now.

BleedGreen808ParticipantI believe they only have something like 2mil in cap space left. They would have needed a sign and trade to get him.

phila9012Participantyeah, if they could have signed and traded for him it would have been best for Kuofus, he would start on a contending team and be the teams only true center. I don’t know how money would have worked out though. It would stink to be stuck on the Kings for 4 years or until they trade you. Honestly one of the other 29 teams must have offered something close. The kings are like the timberwolves in 2010, there really isn’t much hope and they have been bad for a while now. I am a timberwolves fan so I can say this. I am surprised people still go to the kings. That locker room can’t be too happy especially with cousins and coach karl having problems. Then throw in rondo who has had problems with doc rivers and kg and other players on the celtics then again on the mavs with rick carlisle and players on that team. Also throw in an owner who is probably the worst in sports right now. You would have to double what other people are offering if I was an NBA player to play there.
