Grant(dynamic scoring PG and slasher who can pass also), Galloway(scoring combo guard who can stroke it from deep at will), Anthony(maybe the best all around scoring machine), Prozingiz(best shooting big man in th league), Monroe(elite post scoring)… Sixth man: Calderon( great facilitator who can hit the three with his eyes close)… Can they make the playoff in the east?

Rookies are almost never truly "great" as rookies. Last year’s best rookies were good players, but none were looked at for all NBA honors. Knicks picked up very talented players in this draft, but they will require years to be competitive in the association on O or D. Additionally, building a team into an elite force (even on one side of the ball) usually takes years just for chemistry purposes.

Even if you assume that none of the Knicks picks bust–a big assumption–there is no chance the 2015-16 Knicks will be truly great on either side of the ball.

Next year’s Knicks team will be one of the worst teams in the league unless they score biggger than that in free agency.

David West will be on that roster and will probably start and play 25-30 minutes a night.

I also expect the Knicks to sign or trade for a veteran PG. Ty Lawson, Eric Bledsoe, or Rajon Rondo. I’m sure they’d love to have Dragic but Miami will lock him up.

I’d be surprised if Jerian Grant played more than 12-15 minutes a night.
