What do you all think about the Knicks losing both grudge matches, Yes the Bucks game is a grudge match because Jennings thought he was gonna play on Broadway and not near Green Bay.

I didn’t get to see the Bucks game, but I saw last night’s anticipated game against Melo’s former team, The Nuggets. Danillo Gallinari’s swag hit an all-time high since denying Kim Kardashian, going off with a career high 37 points (Going to the line and the extended peiods in overtime attributed to this). Also, other former Knicks joined in the homecoming fun. Al Harrington had 13 points in the 4th quarter and Tim Mozogv had a season high 14 points with 7 rbs and 3 blks. People are giving Gallo a Peja-esque ceiling for his career, but I think when learns to play more efficient, he can be a deadly player for years to come.

I’d say Gallo’s already pretty deadly, with his length and shooting alone he’s quite a player. With just a little improvement in his footspeed and handling he could really be a special.

I’ve got Gallo on my fantasy team (for second year in a row). One thing that people sleep on him is his ability to get to the line. Of course 20 trips in a game is a record for him and was was due to the double overtime, but he averaged 7 attempts a game last year after the trade and he is averaging 6 attempts a game this year. Because you have to respect the three point shot, people have to guard him close even far from the basket. Then he has 20 feet of space to take some long strides and get to the hoop where he can pick up some fouls.

    Interesting stat line from D-league.

Jeremy Lin had 28 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds, and Jerome Jordan scored 26 points as Erie beat Maine 122-113 on Friday night in the NBA Development League. Lin and Jordan were the first D-League assignments in Knicks history

I wonder if Lin is going to catch on with the Knicks eventualy. Interesting that the drop off between leagues is so far that he can’t catch with the Knicks despite their terrible guard rotation but he can drop a triple double at the D-league level.

I seriously question whether he’s been given a legitimate chance to earn quality minutes on NYK or on any team for that matter. He’s always been overlooked for reasons that unfortunately probably have something to do with skill color and a perceived lack of athleticism. If New York keeps losing hopefully they give him a chance if for no other reason than publicity in a large Asian market.
