Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAmar’e Stoudemire’s rebounding is so bad…
Audience (in unison): How bad is it?!
…Jeremy Lin has the same amount of blocks as Amar’e Stoudemire has rebounds!

NickWayne87Participantthe chemisty between lin and anthony……anthony gets so frustrated with him…..and then jeremy starts to play "timid" really just thinking too much like "i don’t wanna shoot this time down even though i’m open, cuz i don’t wanna piss my teamates off if i miss"……..
amare never was a rebounder and never will be….lol…..

river09ParticipantJeremy Lin’s block on Derrick Rose was very impressive. And I’m not a Jeremy Lin fan.

boffacheeriosParticipanthahahaha carmello is such a cancer. They should really be shopping him before the deadline, I truly believe a carmello trade would help the knicks if they get even a managable replacement. How are they this bad? they’ve only won 4 more games than my kings, and everybody knew the kings would suck hahahah

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah I agree with both things you said. When you watch a team like the Bulls, everything is just so free-flowing. If Noah makes a mistake he plays harder on defense. If Rose makes a mistake, he corrects it the next time. If Brewer takes a bad shot, they just go back on defense. Nobody gets upset when someone messes up. They simply forget that last play and go back on defense and play hard and act like nothing even happened. They believe and trust in eachother a lot, much like the Thunder and the Heat of this year.
The thing with Amar’e is he could be a monster rebounder. He’s probably the strongest power-forward. He’s the 2nd most athletic behind Griffin. He’s very well coordinated and has the perfect build to be a defensive PF. He simply chooses not to be. I always thought that if Amar’e really wanted to play defense and gave it his all, he would have 2, maybe 3, Defensive Player of the Year awards. If he tries, he could easily be a 12-14 RPG 2-3 BPG kind of guy that plays excellent on-ball and help-side defense. He just doesn’t want to play defense or rebound at all and it’s sad to see so much potential, athleticism, and a physical specimen go to waste.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIf the playoffs started tonight, the Knicks wouldn’t make the playoffs. They have the same record as the Bucks, except the Bucks are 2-0 against the Knicks.
So much talent and it’s just not working. Tyson Chandler, Amar’e Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith, Jeremy Lin, Baron Davis, Iman Shumpert, Landry Fields and they have a worse record than Brandon Jennings, Drew Gooden, Ersan Ilyasova, Carlos Delfino, and Shaun Livingston…
The difference?
Scott Skiles > Mike D’Antoni.

def true… doesn’t like to play defense, specially if he is not getting as many touches as he wants. he was averaging 2.3 blocks without carmelo last year because he was "the man" in the team.

PulseGlazerParticipantTalent has to go together. This team often feels like a slightly better Isiah Knicks team. Just having talent that doesn’t mesh doesn’t work.
