For those of you who aren’t familiar with European prospects or European basketball in general, KK Zagreb has in its system 3 of the best European prospects (or any prospects for that matter) in their respective age groups.

Darijo Saric (’94) – http://www.eurohopes.com/player/1123/darijo-saric/  ||  Unreal talented for his size and age. High release reminds you of a young Dirk though he’s more of a SF. Top euro prospect born in 1994

Mario Hezonja (’95) – http://www.eurohopes.com/player/1498/mario-hezonja/  ||  My favorite prospect in Europe. Great size and athleticism for a kid his age playing SG. Kid has a ton of potential.

Dominik Marva (’94) – PG that can flat out score. A little undersized but effective nonetheless.

^^All three average over 20ppg on the Junior team on their way to a championship^^ (Saric finished the season on the professional team)

Here’s their team highlight tape, only 4 games.

Also Croatia has Marko Arapovic (6’9 PF) who is the top Euro Prospect born in ’96.

The point is, the future looks bright for Croatian Basketball.

Probably kinda sucks to be KK Zagreb though, I mean as soon as these guys become legit players they’ll leave for the NBA or bigger market Eurolegue teams.

Kinda like a d-league team – if your players suck, your team sucks, if your players play well – they leave and your team sucks

kk zagreb once was respectable club, but few years ago menager hrvoje ciketic enterd club and now kk zagreb is "history". club is in huge debts and didn’t even qualify for aba league. bouth saric and hezonja have sent their papers to get out of contracts with zagreb. unfortunally for them they are not cibona and nob gives a damn about them, so this club will not make any comback soon

as for our future we always had lot ot prospects, but menagers and coaches are destroying this kids, so i would not be sure in our future

Also Croatia has Marko Arapovic (6’9 PF) who is the top Euro Prospect born in ’96

And  Eurohoops ranked 6’7 SF 97. born Lovro Mazalin as best prospect in his generation.

btw. Marko reched 6’10 and he is still 15, his father was 7’2 and by my personal opinion he coud end better then Saric or Hezonja

    (Arapovic 15, Mazalin 14 blue)

And kid that perhaps has bigest upside of all is 97. born 6’9 PG/PF  Dragan Bender. even in this bad game anyone can see  much talent he has (tall kid in black who plays lot at pg)

If we don’t use properly what we have in 94-97 generations, not just this kids, but there are alot of very good prospects beside this kids then whole our basketball federation shoul just kill them self and we should move on
