The NBA is reportedly pressuring the Sacramento Kings embattled owners to sell the team. It’s doubtful, however, if putting seven percent of the franchise on the auction block will satisfy David Stern considering that share is coming from an existing minority shareholder who went bust. The Sacramento Bee explains: “The share held by bankrupt Sacramento developer Bob Cook is expected to be sold off, with the proceeds to be split among Cook’s creditors.” At the end of the day, this is just another small drip in the torture endured by Kings fans.
