KHAM83ParticipantOut indefinitely with stress fracture in right leg. Just a day after another post about the increase in freak injuries to pgs. I guess Tyreke will man the point.

BogDon_KryptParticipantIt’s Tryekes big chance to prove his worth with so many injured. I think he’ll put up big numbers. Although the pelicans wont make the playoffs this year, this is a good opportunity for their players to develop and for Tryeke to get back on track. Unfortunately they traded that pick to Philly for that boy Nerlens, but the teams young core will be even better next year. Side note- they still need to get rid of gordan. Remember when Bledsoe was almost included in that trade? How sick would that have been?

Jester87ParticipantHaving both him and Ryan Anderson sidelined is going to hurt their offense a lot, no matter how well the others will play. And they were never good on D (though Anderson is a minus defender and playing without him might help on that side of the ball). With some luck in the Western Conference they might be able to save that first round pick they owe to the Sixers, though it’s not easy.

TyroberParticipantThis season has been a disaster with point guards. Rose, Westbrook, Bledsoe, and now Holiday? Injuries suck.

Bmore_DCParticipantthats a big blow…not a big fan of the Pelicans plans for their future…but lets see if Reke is worth that contract and if he can run the point efficiently…i think he can.
Meanwhile, Philly is all smiles with their pick (although i think its protected) and it will be fun to see Noel and MCW at the end of the season.

TyroberParticipantI think it’s top 5 protected. Right now they would be giving up the 11th pick to the 76ers, but it isn’t like that are they far off since Holiday just went down. If there was ever a time to tank then this is it. They are 15-19 right now, but if they could switch 4 of those wins with losses they would be 11-23 and would favored to get the 5th pick.

KHAM83ParticipantDo you think Rivers take advantage of this?

IndianaBasketballParticipantAustin Rivers will get to play, but I don’t expect him to do much because he’s not very good. I’m expecting more out of Brian Roberts.
Tyreke Evans and Eric Gordon will have to step up.
