Csharp3410ParticipantWho do you guys compare him with? Would Barbosa be a good comparison or no?

eprizzle14ParticipantThere was a thread like this yesterday. I said he’s a Stuckey type. nbadraft.net compares him to Flip Murrey which I can see as well.

bones1023Participantgood points guys, but if he develops as good as he is supposed to… Jrue Holiday can become a poor man’s dwayne wade (he has all the undeveloped skill sets), but if he does not develop as expected, i can definitely see him being a flip murray type of player

DeRozanfan11Flip Murray or Gary Payton, I can aso see him as a better defending Rich Man’s Barbosa.

Stanford hoopsParticipantwow..gary payton…i cant see it since he is just a good defender and his offense isnt that great…his celing is a delonte west..hes not the gifted scorer flip murray is..but nba draft.nts comparision of him to flip has to do with them thinking he can play a lil pg and shooting guard as well as them being of similar height

Knicksboy34ParticipantJosh, Early in the Glove’s career he wasnt the best scorer…
Holiday at best Gary Payton and at worst……… Poor man Larry Hughes?

Stanford hoopsParticipantnaw his at worst is worst then that and at best id have to say west cuz he hasnt shown any potential what so ever to make anythink he will be a gary payton player…and payton proved in college that he would be a elite scorer eventually..jru didnt show any indications he will be a elite scorer all season

pistonsmanParticipantI think he would be lke a Jarret Jack a volume shooter. And a descent ball handler.

zamehusaParticipantHes so damn overated its ridiculous hes not russell westbrook and hes definently not gary payton… He didnt show anything in college He wasnt even a starter and UCLA was not that good I dunno i would say Jarrett Jack is a good comparison at best except jarrett Jack was actually good in college thats just my two cents

WindyCity23ParticipantJust because he isn’t as much of a potent shooter from downtown. Barbosa is also arguably to fastest player in the league, and I don’t think that Jrue is that either. The only similarity between them is that they are combo guards, but other then that there is not much to compare. Gary Payton might be his ceiling, which is outstanding. I think his floor is probably a Delonte West kind of player, which isn’t bad.

maravich44ParticipantPayton was one heck of a player. I think he will fall far short of that and i don’t see the Barbosa comparison either. Barbosa’s too explosive. Funny how those 2 are guys he’s ging compared to and those 2 are not even remotely close in profile.
