moneymanvicParticipantI just want to clear this up Josh Howard who was recieved in the butler stevenson haywood deal has a 11 million dollar TEAM option. He is 30 injury and prone he wasnt traded for to get production he was traded for so his option can be declined and he can come off the books as well as foye miller oberto ross boykins and singleton (who i hope resigns) that way we have enough room for 1 max contract……..Ive been hearing alot about Josh howard my point is he is good as gone

TheChrisMaddoxParticipantOf course I’d draft Wall and I would actually keep Foye. Howard I’d keep on the back burner for the summer and then maybe offer him 4-5 Million a season for 2 or 3 years and if any team wanted him for a contract better than $15 mill/3 year deal, Bon Voyage JoHo. I do like Blatche and McGee, I think those guys have shown some flashes of becoming pretty good players, and I don’t think it will take too much longer for them to be consitant and reliable. They have cap, a few picks and a few players they could keep to turn this into an athletic run-n-gun team. I’d start praying NOW that I could find some team willing to take Arenas’ contract and just start this season with no expections. IF they could bring in a marquee name there, it would be a waste of money in my eyes because they wouldn’t be contending, and if you’re not contending then you’re throwing money away like Dallas, Atlanta, Toronto etc. to players who aren’t worth their contracts. I’d do what the Thunder and Blazers have done and stock up on draft picks and start from McGee, Blatche, and Wall (+ whatever else they get in the draft.).
