I would just like to know how either of these two are not listed yet as prospects for the 2013 draft?!. Especially the 7 foot, athletic , shot blocking lefty which I believe can climb into the first round. Frank martin just saw a flash of how good Henriquez can be in the final months of his time at K-State. I think Bruce Weber is just going to feed off of that & unleash him to play his game. I need to hear some thoughts, and solutions to solve this problem.

You can make your own mock and put them where you think they should go. There problem solved.

Henriquez is tall and a great shot blocker, with a surprisingly solid touch from 10 feet, but he’s soft, gets pushed out of position and is prone to stupid fouls.  His size and athleticism will get him looks, but in my opinion, he’s a not even as good of a prospect as Hassan Whiteside and shouldn’t get drafted.

McGruder, on the other hand, is a very solid all around player, and a guy who I could see climbing into the late or mid 2nd by the end of the season.  He’s got a nice outside shot, a strong body and can play both sides of the ball.  He’s a little short for his position, but since he can shoot and is not afraid of physicality, I feel he could make it at the next level.  I think he’ll probably drop around 17 ppg and 6 rpg this season and shoot 40% for 3 so I think his stock will rise.

    In my opinion…

Henriquez – He looks the part, but he’s not an NBA player

McGruder – Could be a nice value pick in the 45-60 range

if he looks the part, plays the part, he most likely is the part..especially if physicality is  is shown this season
