Jordan Hamilton signs with the Raptors

The Raptors signed Hamilton to a partially guaranteed deal and the report has him listed as a long shot to make the team but I like the signing. Been a fan of his game since college and I feel like he wasn’t given a fair shot in Denver. Hopefully he makes the team as I think the Raptors could use the depth at SF position since it’s hard to tell who will play behind Ross. Hamilton, James Johnson, Landry Fields and Bruno Cabcolo will all fight for the backup minutes and Hamilton can easily compete with those players. But we can also expect to see alot of Derozan at the 3 with Vasquez and Lou Williams needing lots of time at the SG spot so minutes may be scarce.

It’s a shame they wasted all that money on Fields. Anyways I think he’s definitely got a shot to make the team.

Low risk/high reward. This type of signing could pay huge dividends throughout the regular season and come playoff time, especially in the weaker Eastern Conference.

Hamilton is a killer on 2k14 lol.
Im shocked this guy has had such a hard time cementing his place in the nba. If Ross continues to struggle w consistency, Hamilton can threaten him.
