One of the Top ’93 Born International prospects who would have already been automatically eligible for next year’s draft will be entering next month’s D-League draft. As Caven is obviously hoping to pull off a Thanasis Antetokounmpo, taking much less money opposed to playing in Europe in order to increase his chances of getting drafted or making the NBA, could this potentially set a new trend?

 Having some foriegn born players comming to play here would help. I don’t see this being a trend. If anything the D-league is going to fall even farther behind leagues overseas in terms of pay and contract.

I wish there was an experience cap on the D League. Like if you have more than 5 years NBA experience, then you cant play in the D league. I have no problem with some 30 year old staying committed and going after his dream of playing in the NBA, but if you have been there for years and now you are just too old, go overseas.

If the D League constantly got the best college talent to not make the NBA, I would happily pay to go watch them play.
