valentineBoth have been very good this playoffs, and without them Toronto would have been bounced by Indy. Glad to see Casey has woken up and given them a bigger load to carry.
Jonas is finally showing why he was top 5 pick and can be a top tier bigman. Joseph comes from the Spurs so he’s the most playoff expiercened and has played in big playoff games. I always thought he played solid for the Spurs in a thankless role. Looks like the Spurs finally made a mistake letting him walk and keeping Mills instead, could’ve been their PG as Parker slows down. Toronto got a steal with him, I’d trade Lowry and move forward with Joseph.

lalailaParticipantJonas is showing that is been really awhile since he deserved more touches. Great playoffs for him so far plays like an allstar!
To bad just left the floor with painful ankle, hope nothing serious…

McDunkinLooking consistent next to Lowry and Derozan hasn’t been too hard in these playoffs

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantWas anyone else getting frustrated Thursday night when announcers kept making it seem like Lowry had a good game? He was 7 for 22 from the floor and kept dribbling down the shot clock (not to mention the terrible deep three to end regular time). JV and Carrol, kept the Raptors afloat, Lowry played poorly but just not as poorly as some other games he’s had so far.

Hype MachineSpurs making a mistake by letting Joseph go and keeping Mills is utter garbage.
Mills is on 3yrs, 13m
Joseph is on 4 years, 30m
Mills puts up better numbers is less minutes on a team that won 70 games. Hes a way better defender too.
There is no way San Antonio made a mistake. Joseph is a fine backup…but please. Every team in the league would love to have Patty Mills coming off the bench for them at 3m a season.
When they need to replace Parker with an actual starter..the Spurs will have no problem finding one. Theyre the best workplace in the NBA.

Hype MachineFor comparison sake…
Spurs signed Mills, Ginobli and West combined for less than what the Raptors pay Cory Joseph.

BiggysmallsParticipantI’m a huge fan of Joseph. Thought the Gophers had a chance to get him coming out of HS to play with his brother a number of years ago and he’s developed into a really nice NBA player.
Love his defensive energy…he can create but he doesn’t force things. Honestly think Toronto should probably run a lineup of Lowry-Joseph-Carroll-DeRozan-Valanciunas more often. Space the floor and you’ve got guys who grind in Joseph and Carroll to go along with your "go-to guys"
Valanciunas has been a beast. He’s kicked Whiteside’s ass in the series. It seems like Whiteside gets a lot more attention…why is that?
