Detroit is quitely picking up some nice pieces ..Adding T-Will and Flynn…im rooting for both them. T-Wolves sorta forgot about Flynn since rubio came to town and since then he couldn’t find a home. The question is who is the odd man out in detroit? My guess would be Austin Daye and Charlie V. All pistons are underneath contract…So I’m guessing joe would package them in a deal where he would get a draft pick in return. Either way it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out

You mean "nice pieces" as in busts who have already been let go by multiple teams?  I liked Williams coming out of college, but his inability to score makes him a liability.  Flynn is nothing more than a back up, and a below average one at that….

Ok Flynn is exactly that …a nice piece which can include being a backups..Sure Flynn/Williams isn’t a starter (and we are not asking either to be one), but i bet he’ll be a pretty good sub for Detroit …and we don’t need him to "scorer" we have enough of that…plus Detroit not building a superstar team. I wouldn’t exactly call them busts either. The pistons want players who know how to play excellent defense and play with heart..Both can play good defense and are willing at their positions…Great Defense, is easy offense.

how is johnny flynn a bust ? he had a very solid rookie season with a horrible coach in coach rambis who tried to run a triangle offense wit a young team and a coach that would not play kevin love his secound year he was basiclly hurt and was traded he was never really given a good oppurtunity they drafted pretty much drafted him knowing that they would trade him he was put in a tough position same thing is happening with derrick williams on the team righ now johnny flynn is still only 23 years old hes very young he jus needs to play

Busts or not, they both still have potential and it’s not bad to roll the dice hoping at least one of them finally gets it. Rooting for both of them and for Detroit in general to get back on the NBA radar.

Who’s going to want Charlie V? LOL

Two guys with loads of potential coming out of college, who haven’t lived up to their billing, hopefully they can both get on track in Detroit.

I hate Detroit basketball, i really do. Joe Dumars need to be fired. They always sign these guys around players they already have.. As a basketball freak i cant stand their management. You have the best 5 young players to build around and develop, prolly in the league, and you dont do it. You rather play Stuckey, Prince, Wallace, Maxeill and Joerekpo?? hahahah. im serious this team will never be a title contender unless they build around that great young starting lineup that could.. Man i wish i was there gm

    Knight

    Daye

    Singler

    Monroe

    Drummond

These five could get chemistry and be really good if only the Gm gave them time. Its rediculous that this team has the nerve to think they are gonna compete with them old players. Thats why i love teams that go out and get talent or build around young players. I know Daye hasnt came around, but he has even got PT all crazzy.

Flynn and Williams have both been busts.  The fact that they’re still scratching and clawing to stay in the league is evidence enough. If you’re a top 10 pick going into your fourth year without a guarenteed contract you’re most likely a bust.  As for getting rid of Charlie V… Good luck, should have amnistied him a while a go.

Dont think that T-Will is a bust,he was a very good player in Nets,he can do a little bit of everything,he was a walkin triple double, then he got traded and never fit in that Huston rotation,I personaly liked Nets more with Favors and Williams in team.Flynn also a very solid rookie season, afther that not much playing time, hope they fit in nice in Detroit beacuse a very young team.

With some of you. i wouldnt necessarily call these two "bust". i mean yes they have had less then steller careers so far but thats honestly due to unfair cercumstances. the talent is there they just need a coach to believe in them and let them grow as players. lets take a player like billups for instance, he was considered a "bust" till he got to detroit and showed the league how good of a player he really was. So dont count out these guys because if they are given room to grow they’re gonna show everyone what they’re really made of.

bad signing… they already have 6281767413526716416841365 guys on that team that play his position- for a guy who probably won’t make the roster. waste of time.

Why is signing somone to a nonguaranteed contract a big deal where people are saying its a bad signing?  Both Flynn and Williams have potential.  They might just need the right opportunity, kinda like Chauncey, Tay, Ben wallace had when the pistons got them.  Pistons have a solid history of turning careers around.  Plus if they dont make the team, at least they will bring out the best of daye..hes on his last leg with this team.  He has had too many chances.  I personally hope him, charlie v, bynum arent on the team next year

i understand that johnny flynn hasnt lived up to his pick yet but i jus feel like hes very young and still has time some guys take longer to develop then others. i jus dont feel that you can call a guy whos only been in the league 3 years and is only 23 a bust jus yet. guys like billups jalen rose took years before they developed not every top pick can come in the league in dominate right away. johnny flynn was drafted into a horrible situation the same thing is happening to derrick williams right now in minesota

i think flynn is not just an average back-up, provided with minutes he could develop, all he lacks is playing time, because of the Injury, he has been let go of so teams,

Even though Pistons are stacked at the forwards postion

I think Terrence has the better chance to make the team
