TRC1991ParticipantObviously, I’m not being serious…
But it’s frustrating to see Lowry get snubbed.
Raptors are 3 games ABOVE .500…Brooklyn is 3 games BELOW .500
Lowry has a PER of 20.43
Johnsons is 14.98
Awful. Just awful.

Mr. JewboyParticipantI’ve been in the army and a bit out of what’s been happening, but you’re totally right.
Not only does Lowry have 5 more apg than him, he also scores and rebounds more than him which is Johnson’s main role, and as you said the raptors are 3 games better than a more loaded brooklyn, all this while both being under the "guard" conversation.
I think we should add that Johnson’s already been to a few ASG’s while this may be a golden oppurtinuty for Lowry with Rose out and D-will and rondo being out for most of the year.
I really don’t get why he was chosen over him, SMH

apb540ParticipantI can’t believe JJ made the team over Lowry. Lance was probably more deserving than him too, and definitely more deserving than Roy Hibbert. Drummond and Varejao have been better than that 7’4" turd all year.
Damian Lillard also didn’t belong on the All-Star team. Dude is shooting 41% from the PG position with plenty of other scorers on the team. Give his spot to Dragic, Conley, Duncan, or UniBrow.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI bet Joe Johnson has more all star appearances than some hall of famers. How does he get in all the time?

HitsterParticipantThis will be Joe’s 7th All Star game, I would say that most were deserved but this year’s choice seems strange and Lowry would have been perhaps more deserving. If they wanted to include a Brooklyn player then Paul Pierce would have been a more popular choice as it could be his last season and probably his last realistic shot at an All Star game.
My theory is that Brooklyn has been on a good run recently so perhaps this got Johnson a few extra votes and the Coaches felt that they wanted a Brooklyn player in there. You could also make a case for Kemba Walker who has had a better statistical season than Johnson and I feel that Al Jefferson is unlucky to miss out again also.

joecheck88ParticipantIf you had to make a list of the last guard to get in out of everyone, what would it look like?
Mine
1) Lance Stephenson
2) Kyle Lowry
3) Aaron Affalo
4) MCW
5) Joe Johnson.
maybe a little reach with MCW over JJ but it’s still really close.
