ExumInfernoParticipantKnicks have turned to Jimmer to turn their season around.
Open shots with Zinger and Carmelo there, he might be able to stick on the roster.

OhCanada-ParticipantAs a Raptors fan I’m very excited that the Knicks are relying on Jimmer Fredette to turn around their season. Lol. This and the Nets just beat them by 2-points!
The way things are looking Denver may finish with a better record than the Knicks so it seems like the pick will fall in the 7-10 range.

thetruth87ParticipantI can’t tell if the title of this thread is trolling or not. But anyway being a Knicks for many years I can tell that this is just the typical kind of move the Knicks usually make. They got shutout at the trade deadline, and didn’t improve a team that will now miss the playoffs for the third straight season, and 2nd under Phil Jackson who is making 12 million dollars are year! So now they sign Jimmer Ferdette, who I don’t mean to bash, but is a sideshow that I doubt significantly improves the team in anyway. He is clearly just a distraction that will draw attention temporarily away from how disappointing this season, and Phil Jackson’s tenure have been.
If Phil doesn’t make some significant moves this summer to improve this roster then I think the Knicks should think about firing him because he clearly has no idea what he’s doing. Resinging Melo to that huge extension is looking like a disaster. The Tyson Chandler for Jose Calderon, Dalembert, and 2 2nd round picks was a disaster. Hiring Derek Fisher was a joke and embarassment to the organization. Trading JR Smith and Iman Shumpert and getting nothing of value in return was a disaster. Free agency 2015 when he was allegedly going to draw all the big name free agents was a disaster. And continuing to stick to his ancient outdated offensive system which no one uses anymore (for good reason) is a disaster.
Just about the only good thing he’s done is draft Kristaps Porzingis which he got extremely lucky. If the Knicks had picked 2nd like they were projected to KP would be on the Lakers or Magic, and we’d be stuck with Jahlil Okafor or Russell most likely.
So I wish Jimmer luck, but excuse me for not being the least bit excited about him, and not falling for this cheap trick by the Knicks organization once again.

warson24Agree, i’m also not sure it’s trolling or not, but it should be. Anyone, who think Fredette can turn around more than a lowly minor League team, should stop watching sports.
I’m also bit dissapointed in the Knicks’ roster moves (or the lack of it). One thing is to be unable to get big name free agents (that’s mostly out of control), but futfilling the roster with washed-up towel-wavers…
33 years old Amundsons (a garbage in his prime) or a Sasha Vujacic (mediocre at best in Europe and not even coveted back) won’t help your franchise’s future or present either… It’s great to have a good character/locker room guy or a mentor on your team, with the 15th roster spot, even if he’s impotent on the court… But having multiple… and playing rotational minutes?0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2016 - 2:55am #1043917

Hype MachineIm pretty sure the threads title is making fun of the Knicks in a harmless, joking way. Hardly call it trolling…how sensative are Knicks fans these days?
Its not exactly the Da Vinci code to pick up on the sarcasm.

negguaryParticipantI still am a huge jimmer fan and wait patiently for him to break out but it never comes. I honestly think he’s the type of player the cavs need! Someone who is purely a shooter and can spread the floor, and in that situation he would not have to create for hisself just catch and shoot!

TarHeelRavenParticipantJimmer is a friggin joke. This guy does not deserve to play in the NBA. People wonder why the Knicks have been a joke for as long and it’s because of moves like this. I’m sure he’ll come in and expect the Knicks entire offense to revolve around him.
