i know the beal case well, as well as lamb’s. no need to repeat myself in describing each one.

lamb has more potential, better off screens, better off the dribble, taller, longer, 7ft+ wingspan. who shot 48% taking 7 3s. better ft shooter says something since fr. year says something. as much as people like to look at uconn’s shortcomings, they need to look at last year season where he won it with kemba. no he’s not a leader, but is not easy being a leader in a team with drummond, napier, boatright, roscoe, etc… not to mention the coach health issues

i say lamb > beal, like i’ve been saying all year.

Im gonna be "that guy" and ride the fence a little bit..

I think that if you put both guys in the exact same situation, the results vary..

I say that if you put both players with a great PG (Chris Paul, Steve Nash type) Lamb would be better.  Having someone else create for him would make him awesome. He can creat for himself for a play or 2 but not during an entire game.  This isnt to say that Beal wouldnt be good..

Now, I say that if you put both players with an average PG (Jeff Teague, Jameer Nelson type) Beal would be better.  He can create for himself and is very good with the ball.  He has a great mid range game off the dribble and looks good heading to the rim.  This isnt to say that Lamb wouldnd still be good..

So I would say lets wait until the draft to make this claim..

    SORRY!.. LoL

Your not going out on a limb there, and your not that guy.

This site has been super high on Lamb and its hard not to be, but honestly its really easy to fall in love with his silky shot, 7 foot wing span, and potential.

Jeremy Lamb just lacks "it". He doesn’t have that fire that Brad Beal has. If Jeremy Lamb had "it", Uconn would have been a top 5 team in the country. But the fire isn’t there and I don’t see the desire.

He could be great and he has a higher upside than Beal, but I see Beal being the better pro, because he wants to win and you can tell he has a real love for the game.

Lamb has just been blessed by the basketball Gods.

    @Rob

LoL.. You see a little hostile there.  IDK how you took it but when I said I was going to be "that guy" I meant that I was going to be the guy that doesnt give a definitve answer, which is what the OP is looking for.. Also, I never said I was going out on a limb with my statement..

Keep calm and carry on my friend…

Jeremey Lamb very well could be the best SG in the draft, but I think he could be a bust.

I could see Beal averaging over 22 a game though. He’s just so smooth and has a very mature game.

Jeremy Lamb’s lack of emotion has me thinking he belongs playing with Tim Duncan and the SPurs. He is good but most SGs are more energetic. He has that Duncan- esque to his personality

You know I want in on this! I have no idea how people came to believe Beal was better then Lamb. Honestly, Lamb does everything Beal does, but better. He’s a better shooter, drives better (yes he does, that floater is crazy, hoe you all forget), can create his shot just as well, and is by far the better defender. If Lamb hadn’t lost in the first round of the tourny then this wouldn’t have even been a topic

Lamb skillset is overrated. His ball-handling improved form year 1 to year 2, but his handle is overrated. He’s not very quick/shifty with the ball. And he can’t take contact at te rim. His off-the-ball game is also overrated IMO. He has a good shooting ouch on his sho on the move, but I don’t think he has the motor to become an elite off-the-ball player like a Ray Allen/Korver. And I hate is motor. Dude always seems like he’s on cruise control. Too many times would I see him just standing at the 3-point line not doing anything just waiting to get passed the ball.

Beal > Lamb. In fact, I would take most of the wings that are projected to go in the 1st over Lamb.

Lamb is silky smooth with great length and a great handle.

I really believe he could be the second or third best player to come from this years draft………

He was ranked at no3 on here for most the year behind davis and drummond

oh well in that case, what "guy" do YOU claim that "im not". lol.

i’ve been down with .net being so high on him. i had him top 3 well before nbadraft took him out of theirs. he was my favorite prospect towards the end of the season.

haha this is awesome. Jeremy Lamb. #2 Pick to the bobcats. Averages 26 per, and turns them into a playoff team. Sweeps ROY, MVP, and DPOY.

Lamb then gets the republican nomination.
