According to the NY Post, the Knicks may bring in Monta Ellis as part of a three-way trade. If a sign-and-trade is immanent, Ellis would at least be great in D’Antoni’s system: “When Stoudemire becomes official, it would end the five-year era of David Lee, but set up a possibility of a sign-and-trade to add another piece. There’s been rumors of a three-way trade talk between Golden State, Minnesota and the Knicks where Lee winds up with the Timberwolves, Monta Ellis comes to the Knicks and Al Jefferson goes to Golden State. Lee visited Minnesota yesterday and it has only $7 million in cap room, meaning he’d want a sign-and-trade.”

Bad choice golden state, draft a PF who was a massive reach when there are perfect SF for your system, then trade your only average SF away, then trade a perfect fit for your system for a Another PF who doesnt fit your system when u already have 3 young players who do fit your system in that position ?

    Curry
    Morrow
    Randolph
    Jefferson
    Beadris

Why would the Wolves want David Lee they already have K Love. Oh right, that stupid manager the Wolves have explains so much. That darn David Kahn, what is he thinking?

If the T-wolves don’t get Lee maybe they can wait until next year and get about 5 through the draft. They loaded up on point guards last year and small forwards this year, so why not?

Well according to NBATV’s little scroll on the bottom.

The Knicks and Warriors have looked to do a sign and trade for Lee and Ellis.

Ellis = Barbosa with No Nash…

    He’s over paided and Stupid…How long before he’s Injured…

Score for the Warriors…Lee at PF and Beidrins at Center is a good rebounding Front Line…

Now as For The Knicks and Ellis…With Stat and Gallo( Aka The Fake Dirk that’s closer to Boris Diaw)

They’ll have a run and gun system that fits their players best qualities…But what NY fans have to See is they’re is no Nash…And Unless Some One Trades you Star Point for Curry’s expiring(I See hell freezing over first) you’ll be the Fake Suns…Wishing you never passed on Jennings…Ellis is not a Point Guard…He’s a Small 2 in the mold of Barbosa…He’ll be best as your 6th man…

The Wariors will have to Fire Nellie and start Randolph at the 3 ala Lamar Odom…let He, Lee and Beidrins play the 3, 4 and 5…Curry is the franchise point guard( must improve on getting the Ball to Team mates) They would only need a great Sg to come in and Power this Team to success…

All in all it’s good for Both Teams…Warriors get a Real Pf NY gets a scorer that can sign in D’antonio’s offense…Perfect Fit for all…The Knicks will only need a great Pg, defense 3 pt shooter ala Raja Bell and for Wilson Chandler to become a Matrix type impact player and not be traded to get the PG…any one from Barron to Jordan or Amare would play Center in NY…Mike D hates a normal sized line Up…

Warriors would be set at Pg, Sf( barring that AR becomes a Lamar Type at the Sf position) Pf( With David “double double” Lee and the Nightmare manning the spot with a Dash of Brandon Wright in the mix…Center is solid too with A.Biedrins hopefully bouncing back and Turiaf making through the year as his back up….They are more bad year and Lottery star 2 Guard from being a great young and exiting team to watch…

The Knicks will hope and pray for Chandlers progression in the Matrix and be trying Curry for Parker or TJ Ford trades all year long…Oh …If only you had 1st round picks….

Read before you post…I said He’s closer to Diaw than he his to Dirk…Dirk can play the 3,4 and 5…

Gallo can’t play the 5 and has no way near the offensive talent that Dirk had even at the same age Gallo is now…I said He’d be the Diaw type on a team with Ellis, Stat and a Good Pg…He’d be the Sf/Pf that helps run the offense from the High Post…But He has the outside shot that Boris never got to help put him over the top in Phoenix…Before you talk I watch Basket Ball everyday and Gallo is a 6th man at best,,..He can be the undersized 4 on a NY squad that wants to run and gun with Ellis and Amare…read before you post…

FYI NY fans that over Value Gallo…Scouts for NBA 2 K and NBA Live rated Gallo a 54 and 59 respectively on their first updated copies of the games…Scouts updated his skills once after and he made it as far as a 61 overall rating…he ain’t the next coming…Chandler is no Better and don’t get me started on the Rest of the team around Amare right now…

    Ellis = The Blur 2.0
Gallo = Diaw type hybrid Forward that can stretch the floor unlike Diaw,..But he’s a Bench guy…
Amare = Amare minus Nash…How good is he by himself…
Chandler = Low Budget Matrix remake…Run… Run… Run

Tell me where I missed on my comparison for this team…

All they need is The Spurs to smoke some Canada Kush and Trade Tony Parker for Eddie Curry and Bill Walker….

And then sign A Raja Bell Type at Sg and fill the roster with role players that run and shoot the 3…

WTF does the ratings of a video game have anything to do with REAL Basketball??!!! Who gives a damn if he’s rated a 59 or lower, during the season his first game he had 30pts…and please, in NBA live a guy with a 59 rating could score about 13ppg in Dynasty Mode.

First off Monte Ellis is better than Barbosa…he’s stronger, and more athletic. Barbosa is just fast and he’s a consistent shooter.

How on earth can you say that Gallo is closer to Boris Diaw…and at this stage in the game, Gallo has a way better basketball IQ than Dirk did at this stage, plus he already a better defender. Gallo has some heart, which is something I can’t really say for Dirk. Ask David West when he slapped him and he didn’t do anything. Gallo may not be the offensive talent that Dirk is, but at this stage, considering his potential, he’s already shown signs of being a more versatile player.

How can you say Gallo is a bench player and he is soooo young… 15 and 5 in “basically” his rookie year was pretty good… I dont he will be as good as Dirk but he has the potential to be a solid 20 ppg 8 reb guy and go to couple all star games… He has the ability to even win a couple 3 pt titles (dude has got a nice stroke)… To me he could be a 3rd option on a championship team… He could start on a few playoff teams at 21…
