The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWith a lot of secrecy being involve with their pick I had an idea I wanted to throw out there…Utah trades the 3rd pick (Enes Kanter) to Washington for the 6th(Vessely) and 18th(Hamilton)pick in the draft, they draft Jimmer at 12 and call it a draft day success story…The Jazz get Vessely, Jimmer and Jordan Hamilton to add to the core , the Wizards and Camp Kanter get what they want in A Wall/Kanter combo…any thoughts Jazz fans, I know you’re out there, lol…

NYCarolinaParticipantJust my thought, why not do that deal, but take Hamilton at 12 and then go and tell Washington to take Darius Morris at 18? Then it gives you
Harris-Miles-Hamilton-Favors-Jefferson with Vesely and Morris

swishh_15ParticipantWell you’re giving up a top 3 pick when it seems to be common knowledge among all these draft people that there are 3 players in tnis draft that have separated themselves above the rest. So it would definitely be a gamble, could work great but it could be a failure as well.
I am in complete agreement though the jazz should figure out some trade to give them a pick between 16 and 25. There are a lot of players there that I feel could benefit them. Hamilton, brooks, honeycutt, Singleton just to name a few.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/05/2011 - 6:02am #540218
The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWhy take Hamilton over Jimmer when Jimmer provides the same shooting and can sell tickets day one, Hamilton could still be around at 18 too so why pass a guy that fits Utah like a glove, and could very well be the pg of the future in Utah…Vessely and Fredette plus the 18th pick out of this draft would be huge for the Jazz…And the Jazz fans would riot if they missed out on Jimmer at 12 and Jordan at 18…

NYCarolinaParticipantI only said Hamilton at 12, because Indiana, Houston and New York has shown intrest in him, so he might not reach 18. Also, Utah could find a shooter in FA, While Jimmer might sell tickets in his first season, if he sucks, he won’t sell the next year.
Take the best players…not the ticket sellers. Worked for Indiana in the 80’s, they went Miller went many thought Alford would be the hometown pick

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantAny one watching college ball can tell u that, and as far as the pro game goes 6’8 swing men grow on trees, Pg’s with Jimmer range come around every couple years…
