Any chance OKC would target him? They are needing a SG/SF to come off the bench and score..  He can probably match Lamb.

If You g falls out of the lottery, they could move up to get him. They dont value PJ3 or Lamb that much..  Both of the. And their late pick should be enough to convince someone to move down..

thats the thing, i see him cracking the lottery.

and even if he slips out,i dont see him lasting on the board long after.

theres alot to consider. do the thunder even think highly of him? will the team on the board be willing to trade him?

              lots of questions.

i highly doubt anything goes down like this though.dont see thunder making any draft trades.

If there is 1 shock value pick in this year’s draft it will be Young. Do not rule out the possibility of Top 5 for him. No draft is concrete and it’s a proven fact every year.

Lets go back two years and every single person would of said the same thing about Dion Waiters. Sure that draft was much less stacked then that one, but sometimes GM’s try to be the smartest guy in the room and take fliers on guys(I’m looking at you Chris Grant and Dan Gilbert.)

you just said it yourself, the draft was weaker. Waiters was also a top 10 lock at the time, so while it was a surprise, he exactly didnt just shoot up the boards in a major way.

theres a chance James Young actaully slips out the lottery, theres a difference here.not to mention the top 5 is stronger in this draft.

While I don’t think young will be years shock pick, I agree that at pick number 5 there could be a shock pick because there are a clear top 4 players wiggins, parker, embiid, exum. Then there is next group of PFs and marcus smart. I would guess that pick number 5 or 6 has the most potential to surprise people because there is a lot more uncertainty there like there was at the top of the draft last year.

James Young will go top 10.

    Detroit at 8, Cleveland 9, Phiily 10

He’s going to end up as one of the top two or three guys left on every one of those teams’ boards.
