ChicagoCaseyParticipantI don’t how others fell about this pick, but I love this pick for Philly. I know they have a boatload of bigs on the roster. I fell like he fits perfectly with Nerlens Noel, who is a big time defender and finisher in the paint.
Yeah Philly probably need a point guard and shooting, but you have to get the best talent available. They can probably still can get their point guard via trade. Would the Celtics willing to trade for Joel Embiid for Marcus Smart, James Young, and some 1st round picks.
A lineup of Marcus Smart, James Young, Robert Covington, Nerlens Noel, and Jahlil Okafor sounds promising.
What could the 76ers get for Joel Embiid? I don’t know how high his stock is right now.

trombonematrix43ParticipantI loved the pick for the 76ers. He was definietly the BPA @3 (arguably for the entire draft Okafor was the BPA). I think the 76ers plan on keeping these three together for as long as they possibly can. I think Marcus Smart is a buy low kind of player at this point. As for Embiid, I wouldn’t sell on him now for several reasons but the two I stick with is A) we still don’t know how serious his injury is and B) his upside is still better than almost anyone in the league.

n3xParticipantI see like this Embiid out for sure but i think this could go like this:
Noel, Embiid
Bledsoe, 1st pick top10 protect
Because Suns have no big men really and bledsoe is on the trade block if i am right.

EndlessknightParticipantThere are 96 minutes between PF and C, all three could easily average 30 minutes a game next season. No reason to rush a horrible trade.
