Hear me out:  The Kings can afford Jabari Parker

Assuming the Kings take Doncic. He is flexible enough to play a passing/playmaking SF.  Jabari is a modern day PF.

The Kings roster – You have Fox/Frank Mason at PG, Hield/Bogdanovic at SG. Doncic/Justin Jackson at SF. Jabari at PF.  You still have WCS, Harry Giles, Skal Lab, Georgios Papagiannis.

The Kings have not been a very good organization over the past few years but that’s quite a promising team, maybe add a vet or two.  I’m sure coach Pop or Brad Stevens could get some decent results with that lineup…..

Papagiannis was waived before the end of last season btw.

But a good idea so a +1 from me. This would of course largely depend on who they draft and might mean them taking Doncic. But it would be an interesting line up to watch and would give some good line up options such as Doncic as point forward or at SG.

If they drafted Bagley, I’d be in two minds if it could work as Jabari plays mainly PF and it is Bagley’s likely position too.

Thought he would be the best player from the 2014 draft but he never got a fair shot at development due to injuries and being stuck in Giannis shadow. Leaving Milwaukee will not only be great for him but also the team that signs him if he stays healthy. He could make alot of lottery teams much more competitive.

The Kings are where careers go to die.

I like Jabari in Utah at the four next to Gobert. They desperately need an additional scorer to go with Donovan Mitchell. Not sure how that works defensively with he and Ingles at the forward spots together, knowing that it’s defense first with the Jazz under Quinn Synder. But I still think it’s a good fit.

You get Jabari and Doncic and I’d accuse them, for the first time in years, of being promising.

Jabari has been sighted in Utah and given his faith you could say it would be a natural fit.

Jabari and Wiggins were seen as possible franchise changers but both are effectively 2nd or even 3rd fiddles on their current teams. Wiggins has had a solid NBA career so far but we are still not quite convinced is he more than a scorer.

Jabari has had two big injuries and in his 3rd season was really kicking on. A lot will depend on what sort of contract he is after given he has had two ACLs by the age of 22. His return this year was encouraging even if he was 6th man and playing less minutes.

With a full preseason and more time to recover he could well kick on again next year but a team may be reluctant to commit big money to a guy who has already had two major injuries.

Naturally he’ll look for the best deal but the chance to be a focal part of a team might appeal to him if Bucks don’t make him what isa considered an acceptable offer. I could see him certainly signing an offer sheet elsewhere to try and force the Bucks hand one way or another.

I would probably start Bogdanovic over Hield, but maybe that is just me.

As far as Jabari Parker, I would still be concerned about his longevity. I would offer up a 2 year contract, but nothing beyond that.
