We don’t know what happened, so we can’t really judge him on that. However, the Grizzlies should have never signed him. He’s talented, but he comes with a lot of baggage, and he’s stunting the growth of Mike Conley. I know that alot of people think that Conley isn’t that good, but he’s exactly what the Grizzlies need in their starting lineup: an unselfish point guard who can push the ball. I’m optimistic about them pulling it together and making the playoffs.

Their not making the playoffs man…In the west? Lol. Their record is 1-5, and I don’t see it getting much better.

Marc Gasol is having a heck of a year though.

I honestly thought that this team could get 40+ wins before the season started. You have Mayo in his sophomore season, Rudy Gay, Mike Conley, Z-Bo doing work down low, an improved Marc Gasol, and Allen Iverson who I thought was gonna prove that he wouldn’t be detrimental to a contender by playing unselfishly and accepting whatever role the Grizzlies assigned him.

Wow… This is crazy, but we shouldn’t jump to conclusions. It definitely looks funny considering he’s spent the last few games complaining about starting, but let’s give him the benefit of the doubt here. It’s not out of the ordinary for athletes to miss practices or games for personal reasons. Let’s just hope everything is okay with him and he’s back soon.

“Personal Reasons” imo just means, i dont really wanna play here unless im starting (my personal opinion)

Iverson may be one of the greatest scorers of all-time, but hes also gotta have one of the biggest egos of all time and it just seems like he refuses to come off the bench, a guy like Iverson though, should know the meaning of EARNING your spot in a lineup, hes still good, very good, but hes at a point in his career where hes relying on his reputation to take him some places

But once again..this is just my personal speculation, a personal reason could really mean something personal

Yeah maybe its me being cynical, and i probably shouldnt jump to conclusions, but this guy has been nothing but
trouble the last few years. With the news coming out that yesterday that he’s pretty much not speaking to the head coach, hes showing that at this stage in his career that he’s nothing more than a DIVA!

I hope someone reminds Iverson that the reason he signed with Memphis is because nobody else wanted to put up with his outplayed cocky immature acting ASS….This was his chance to improve his image to the league..I hope he’s is out for personal reasons..Because if he’s trying to get traded ..He might be joining the same league that Marbury & Sprewell are playing in..lol….2 other talented players who me first bad attitudes forced them out of the league.. While they still had the skills to contribute
