CavFanPRParticipantClippers signed Spencer Hawes and want to work on a S&T with Cleveland. They also expressed interest in Luol Deng. Could this trade go through?
Clippers receive: Spencer Hawes, Luol Deng, Tristan Thompson, ’15 first round pick
Cavaliers receive: DeAndre Jordan, JJ Redick
Clippers get their two coveted free agents and they both come from Cleveland. Cavs get a much needed post presence and they take on Redick’s contract and give up a first to ease the deal.
This is just an idea, don’t know if rules permit this. Thoughts? Do you have a better idea?

Mr. HookShotParticipantSo… Jordan is their "much need post presence"?

thunderjerkParticipantNot sure if that trade is possible, but I feel like the Cavs should get the pick in that scenario.

bmac697ParticipantI would agree, pick the other way. But this is a decent trade forsure, one of the only negs, he and griffin are good buddies. They both work hard in offseason and have great work ethic. I remember Jordan saying griffin taught him how much work you have to put in everyday to get better. It’s true, Jordan has slowly been improving over past four years. I remember in draft I was high on him, he was compared to Dwight Howard but more athletic. I can’t believe he went in the second. If a trade like this went down, I hope Jordan would keep working hard and maybe bring that to this Cleveland team.

tuck243Participantone of the most athletic centers in the league? Correction: Damn near the best defensive center in the league? He’s only making $11 Million… That’s a deal for one of the league’s top centers…. No way in hell you trade him for Spencer Hawes and Loul Deng…

TEQU1LAParticipantAs a Clippers fan, I have to say hell no! However, Loul Deng a Clipper does have a good ring to it. What about Cavs sign n trade Deng for around 10 mil a yr for 6th man of the yr Crawford, Dudley, Bullock and a future 1st going to the Cavs, a win win for both teams.

TyroberParticipantDeng Thompson AND a 1st rounder? Like others said cava would need a pick going back. I don’t see the Clippers making any huge moves though
