Charlie SheenParticipant4 way deal- Denver, New Orleans, Charlotte and LAC
Nuggets get- Al- Farouq Aminu, Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Boris Diaw Wolves 1st(2011) and Clippers 1st(2014)
Hornets get- DJ Augustine, Randy Foye, Derrick Brown and Ryan Gomes Clippers 1st(2012)
Bobcats get- Baron Davis, Al Harrington and Chris Andersen
Clippers get- Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, JR Smith , Trevor Ariza and Desagna Diop
why?
Nuggets get- a young SF, a true C and an athletic SG to go ahead with plus an expiring deal in Diaw plus 2 future 1st what else can they ask for????
Hornets get- a young PG a veteran Combo Guard and a veteran SF who’s deal isnt guaranteed past next year, Brown who might be a solid role guy one day plus a 2012 1st and they will be in the lottery in 2011 and 2012 so they can begin to rebuild
Bobcats get- a veteran PG for their team who plays well wit Jackson and Harrington they also get Birdman who can defend the paint with Tyrus Thomas not to mention Gerald Wallace this team could surprise
Clippers get- Anthony, Paul,Ariza and Smith 4 pieces to push them to the top tier of the West add Griffin, Jordan and Bledsoe and thats a great core plus Diop who can defend BIGS inside
winners
1. Clippers- Bigs- Griffin, Jordan and Diop Wings- Anthony, Ariza and Smith Points- Paul, Bledsoe and Warren- Thats says it all
2. Bobcats- core- Wallace, Jackson, Davis, Thomas, Harrington and Andersen
3. Nuggets- young pieces- Lawson, Aminu, Kaman, Affalo and Henderson plus 2 first and CAP room
4. Hornets- they want CAP relief and they get it they get Augustine who’s no Paul but hey what more can they ask for and they get a future 1st

SubZeroParticipantI’m not sure if the Clippers want to give up Gordan AND Kaman, but that would be crazy if they could get Melo, Paul, Smith, and Ariza all in one trade

TyroberParticipantSo the hornets trade Chris Paul and get back Augustine and Randy Foye. I think its safe to say this thread should be deleted

TyroberParticipantI just have one more thing to say. you also stated that the reason "they want CAP relief and they get it they get Augustine who’s no Paul but hey what more can they ask for and they get a future 1st" how the hell is that more than you can ask for? This trade is more biased that Dynces trade ideas

NarcParticipantIf the Hornets were to ever make that trade…they would be sure to relocate, because their fans would abandon them out of sheer stupidity of the GM.

SubZeroParticipantAnd what do the Nuggets really lose? Sure they lose Melo, but everyone knows he’s one foot out the door. Eric Gordon will be an upgrade over JR and Kaman is a huge upgrade over Andersen, although his defense would be missed

Snubs15ParticipantThe Hornets would not do that

Mr. ChicagoParticipantYou are aware you created a trade with 16 players and picks involved correct?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 10/02/2010 - 4:28am #408382

llperezthe worst part of this whole trade is that the hornets give up both chris paul and trevor ariza and the best pieces they get back are dj augustin, randy foye and a clipper first rounder that will be in the late 20’s since theyll have melo and cp3. Now Brabbit, step back for a minute and think about that.
I mean i disagree with most trades on here, but this is the type of trade that makes me think you either have no knowledge of basketball or you are just trying to mess with us for laughs.
