 With today’s complete lack of perimeter D, and how the current rules are set, there’s almost no way he doesn’t get it at some point. Hell, Thompson could challenge it as well. I look at today’s NBA the way you hear people talk about today’s NFL, like all of the QB records being broken should have an asterisks ’cause it’s a much softer league. The same should hold true for the NBA. Point blank, guys like Irving and Curry couldn’t just dance with the ball for 5 seconds with the nearest defender three feet away in any other version of the NBA. You ain’t doin’ that sh!t with Gary Payton or Derek Harper literally grabbing you the whole time. With that, I still think Curry has already established himself as the best shooter of all time. What he’s doing is insane. If he maintains this level of production this will go down as the best single season in league history.
