EspressoParticipantAnswer: Yes, and I can’t believe it hasn’t happened yet!
As I’m looking up the record and I’m thinking: "That’s got to have happened, how did I not find out though?"
Curry is averaging 12 3pt attempts a game. WHAT!? Can we take a step back and witness this madness! Our children are gonna ask us what it was like to watch Curry play, Reggie Miller who?
Best player in the NBA?

Greek-BallerLebron still avg more assist, more rebounds, more blocks, their shooting % is almost identical, Curry has the edge in scoring (because he is a 3 pt shooter, Curry attemps around 22 shots to Lebron 20, both shoot around 52%), but Lebron is by far the better and more versatile defender out of the 2. Lebron is also the better leader of the 2.. Curry turns the ball over slightly more (shouldn’t be the case, without Kyrie, Lebron has the ball in his hands all the time).. Slice it how you want, you got schooled by a Greek..

he_gets_bucketsParticipantWhy’d you need to put in the "schooled by a greek" part? Are you implying that its shameful to get schooled by one? That they are all as dumb as you?

JDB12ParticipantCurry also plays less minutes per game than LeBron, is scoring 7 points more per game, and only 0.3 less assists per game than LeBron. He is better in FG%, 3pt%, and is a 30% better FT shooter than LeBron. LeBron is averaging 0.4 more blocks per game while Curry has almost one more steal per game. Curry’s PER is 34. 87 and LeBron’s is 28.87. The only thing LeBron is doing better than Curry this season is losing games. LeBron is still a great player, and the Cavs are a good team and are suffering from injuries, but Curry is currently the best player in the league on the best team in the league.

Greek-Ballerretard, curry plays 0.9 minutes less big deal seriously? Lebron’s backcourt is INJURED, what the hell is that lol, get that Curry’s dick out of your mouth, you’re gonna swallow it all.. leave some for Lebron’s haters which consist of pretty much the whole forum here it’s funny how bias this forum is toward Lebron.

JDB12ParticipantI’m saying right now, Stephen Curry the best player in the NBA on the best team in the NBA. That’s all I’m saying. I’m not a LeBron hater, I think he’s a great player, but right now Curry is better.

mikeyvthedonParticipantBut lets remember, it is Kobe Bryant AND Donyell Marshall’s record right now:
and, for fun:
Also, Stephen has come pretty damn close already. It will really depend if he needs to make 13 three pointers in a game, but it absolutely seems like it should happen sooner or later:

whiteflashParticipantWith today’s complete lack of perimeter D, and how the current rules are set, there’s almost no way he doesn’t get it at some point. Hell, Thompson could challenge it as well. I look at today’s NBA the way you hear people talk about today’s NFL, like all of the QB records being broken should have an asterisks ’cause it’s a much softer league. The same should hold true for the NBA. Point blank, guys like Irving and Curry couldn’t just dance with the ball for 5 seconds with the nearest defender three feet away in any other version of the NBA. You ain’t doin’ that sh!t with Gary Payton or Derek Harper literally grabbing you the whole time. With that, I still think Curry has already established himself as the best shooter of all time. What he’s doing is insane. If he maintains this level of production this will go down as the best single season in league history.

HitsterParticipantCurry is on one of the hottest scoring runs in recent years and the way he is knocking down 3 pointers then I could see him getting the record at sometime in his career.
Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson have both done 11 in a game in 2015 too.
Ironically Ray Allen, the most prolific 3 point scorer ever had a best of 10 so never made it to the top of this list

EspressoParticipantI think the fact that he hasnt broken it yet has something to do with him not giving damn, if he actually foced the issue he wouldve broken the record already.
