halfdecayedParticipantThere have been rumors about LA trading for Kawhi, I think they certainly have the pieces to do so, PG has been linked to LA for like what the past 3 years? If they don’t resign Randle they will have the cap space to sign Lebron and PG. Im not really good at this cap space game, but let’s say Kawhi doesn’t sign the super extension with the Spurs and gets traded for his last year (17.6 Million for the year left on his contract), could this happen ? The combination of PG and Kawhi alone on the wing would be just crazy defensively man.
At this point I don’t know what Lebron will do, I thought the Sixers should be the no1 option, but the turns have turned quickly.. They are losing to a Depleted Celtics team 0-2 in the series and Simmons scored 1 damn point.. Yeah, looked much more enticing to go there a week ago.
He could stay pat and stay in Cleveland, but he won’t win there again and will waste his last good years getting stats pretty much and maybe getting more finals losses on his record, which isn’t really enticing.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantI believe he will end up in Houston. But if the lakers can land Gelo with PG and Kawhi. WATCH OUT!!!!

ChoppyParticipantAre you actively trying to collect negs? I haven’t always agreed with everything you’ve posted, but lately you seem hell bent on getting negged as much as possible.

MopgrassParticipantI honestly don’t see the Lakers landing PG13 or Lebron. I think they’ll be a playoff team, regardless. The following year they could get most anybody.
They need to shore up outside shooting and get a defensive center before they’re in range of contending. Do they have the pieces to get Leonard? Yes. But if they can wait a year, their players will be more developed and Deng can actually be traded at the end of this coming season because he’ll only have a year left on his contract,

Andrew1984ParticipantI can definitely see Kawhi, Paul George, and Lonzo Ball in L.A. together. But not LeBron.

whiteflashParticipantJames has spent his entire career avoiding the West like the plague. There’s a zero percent chance that he goes to one of the most storied franchises in professional sports in the conference he’s strategically avoided during the twilight of his career. It just doesn’t make sense.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI don’t think there’s any way they land all three. Trading for kawhi is a possibility but it really depends what San Antonio would want in return. I don’t think they would settle for less than two of the Ingram/Ball/kuzma trio as a starting point and I don’t think the lakers would go for it.
I still think the lakers plan A is to pursue the James-pg combo in free agency. If that doesn’t work or they are only able to sign one of the two I believe they will most likely pursue players on short one year deals and roll their cap space over to next summer. Of course, there are a lot of different variables that could come into play though.

HitsterParticipantTwo of the Three possibly but I’d say there are question marks about any of them going there.
LBJ will want right supporting cast and why go out West now plus if he is about legacy – try to win on a team which hasn’t won for years.
PG13 couldn’t help Thunder get past first round with a top 5 NBA player in Westbrook, short of going in alongside LBJ where could he get on a better winning situation in theory.
Kawhi only played 9 games this season, he is a FA next summer and D12 walked away from Lakers in 2012, would they risk losing him or be able to give the Spurs the sort of package they’d accept.
Through in Lavar Ball circus though I still think if LBJ said he’d come but only if the Big Baller mob were traded on, you’d see Melo Ball on first flight out of LA.

CU.LIONSParticipantThere is NO financial way to pay 3 max players in LA. so 2 out of 3 at best. I do think PG is a near lock though.

Reptilian MonkParticipantLebron willl saty in Cleveland. He will force them t trade their 8 th pick with an assest for a high quality borderline all star player and keep running the East

LA could send Ingram, Kuzma, and Deng to SA for Kawhi and Brandon Paul, freeing up the cap space necessary to sign LeBron and PG after stretching Channing Frye. They would then be able to go over the cap to match any offer on Randle creating the starting lineup of:
PG: Lonzo
SG: Kawhi
SF:PG
PF: LeBron
C: Randle

cohenbc1ParticipantSpurs aren’t taking Deng’s contract. Replace Deng in this trade with a re-signed KCP and maybe Spurs will talk.

BeastMode716ParticipantBut the Lakers would have to give up some Key pieces to acquire Kawhi Leonard
I’d like to see Lebron join up w/ Kawhi or PG13 & go somewhere together b/c I really fear that there will be No team that can even touch Golden State over the next 4 or 5 years
It looks pretty certain right now that Golden State is going to Breeze to another NBA Title
I Luv the Sixers young Talent in the East but they are So young so I never took them as serious contenders this year – I really believed this was Toronto’s year to step forward & make the Finals
That Indiana team is So much better than people gave them credit for but even so, the Cavs looked pretty Weak – that’s why it was Shocking the way Cleveland just walked into Toronto & took game 1 on the road
It’s hard to imagine this depleted Boston squad taking out the Cleveland Lebrons when they meet in 2 weeks in the Eastern Conf Finals & the Western Conf Finals appear the same –
So it looks like we’re gonna see the Dubs vs the Lebrons for the 4th year in a row & it even though I give the Cavs mad props for Effort & Courage I just do not see Cleveland giving Golden State much of a squabble

Ahkasi ClayParticipantI call it now. Lakers strike out again in free agency. The have to over pay just to keep Randle.
