Michael.S.Participantnot including the players of the future in the NBA like K.D and Lebron
can A.I beat out Kobe and a prime T-Mac for the best scorer this generation?
i certatly think there is a case for him, as well as Kobe and possibly T-Mac. Kobe because hahaha 62 pts in 3 periods and outscoring the Mavs single handedly, 65 against the Blazers ,60 in the garden and 81 of course . A.I because he has been an uncanny scorer even at his height, no one could guard him, u can consider him of course because he has 4 scoring titles, was #3 ALL-TIME in ppg at one point with 28+ ppg average until he got traded( which never ever should have happen ) scored 48 in his first FINALS game, 60, and of course the spectaculat 2001 season where he had 50 plu every other game in the playoffs, and also he has one of the highest ppg totals in the history of the playoffs. T-Mac can be in the discussion because he has won multiple scoring titles , he could score from anywhere whenever the hell he wanted, scored 62, also one of the all time playoffs ppg leaders, and of course 13 in 35 sec. hahahawhat do u think?

Knicksboy34ParticipantYou said it…3rd all time, He is the best scorer of the decade not the generation

Da1potParticipantGood post, But I think Kobe has it sealed up for the best scorer of his generation. He is just so advanced and it seems like he can score from anywhere, at any angle, on anybody.

Toronto16ParticipantI might have to agree with this. A.I. is probably the best scorer of this generation with Kobe a close 2nd.

MuggsyParticipantKobe gets the nod. But AI is superb for his size. Also a seldom mentioned Ginobili is right up there in terms of best scorers.

JNixonParticipantKobe is the best scorer of our generation. He has the ability to put the ball in the net from anywhere on the court and he can take over games from all 3 levels on the court. And score through contact, with a hand in his face, and from all kinds of angles with or without his shoulders squared.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantLOL! when you take as many shots as AI has taken, you’re not the best scorer…. that just means you’re a ball hog. I like watching AI as much as the next guy, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a volume shooter who has never really been very efficient.
Career 42.5% FG… that’s awful. Career 31.5% 3FG… also nothing to write home about….
Maybe he’s the best 6’1″ scorer, but come on guys, that’s nothing special.
