Kevin Durant Best Scorer Ever??? I think Durant could possibly become one of the best scores ever. I talking may average around 30 or just under for his career. Because if you look at his skill set he’s already near the top in the league. He can shoot, create his own shot, he can post up the very few people smaller than him, has great length and height that allows him to get off shots others cant. And also has a steadily improving pull up game. Give him maybe two more years to bulk up some more and he might just have a guy who can score over 30 points a game for some years to come. You seen it at Texas while he was there about 30 points every night. And he only going to grow get stronger and mature as a player. He’s going to be a living nightmare to guard in a couple of years. Maybe more tougher to guard than LeBron. Because you can lay off LBJ cause he not a great shooter. But you lay off Durant you are in for some trouble. He kind of reminds me of a little taller Tracy McGrady with a developing offensive skills set of a Jordan or Kobe.

I think he can easily score around 30ppg especially with the team he has or maybe not if the young core of players can take the load off. Only legitimate scoring threats on that team are like Westbrook, Harden, and maybe green who are both going to give you around 20-15ppg range. I think its going to depend on the development of Westbrook as a PG, if he can operate the team I think Durant and the team will be great. Harden looks like a solid player and looks like he can take some of the scoring load off of Durant, and it seems like Harden does not need to demand the ball to be great and would become a great complimentary player to Durant. Too early to compare Durants offensive skill set to Jordan or Kobe, but he has the potential to. Durant isnt an amazing athlete, but he is a great athlete. He may lack the athleticism or explosion of the two but he makes it up with his size and length. He already has a great outside game at his age and size, def. a nightmare to defend. His numbers were sick as a sophomore, to even improve on those is just straight up nasty: 25pg, 6.5 rpg, 47%fg 42%3p If he is able to add the weight it would be disgusting…just hope that it doesn’t take away from his first step or speed. He has such a smooth game, in my opinion kind of like Carmelo, but has the potential to be even better because of his size. I don’t know just my thought, barring from any injury I think he is going to be like top 5 player in this league. I love the team too Westbrook, Green, Harden, just now if they can get a solid bench and solid post game this team will be the future of the West. I’m praying for the best for this team, and that no one will get hurt, this is going to be a fun team to watch.

Heres the thing you look at great scorers like melo and t-mac and you compare his game to there game plus more height. He is gonna be unstopable when he gets going. Should be fun to watch this kid develop

I think he will be. He’s this young and has everything you need to be a great scorer and he seems like a safe bet to get alot better. He’s well on his way, especially if he gets stronger and gains weight (which would help his dribble drive game dealing with contact)

T-MAC used to be one of the best scorers in the league pre-injury. He averaged 28-32ppg the last two years at Orlando before he got traded. T-MAC was a premier scorer in the league just that sadly that injuries crept on him. IF T-Mac didn’t get hurt we probably would talk about him differently and remember him as a premier scorer…i mean he sure gets paid like one lol. Scary thing bout KD is that hes putting up better fg% than TMAC in his stint in Orando, Durant doesn’t need to shoot like 100000 times a game just to score 30pts. Im not saying T-MAC was one of the best scorers of this generation, but when he was healthy he def. was. With his athleticism, length, and smooth game T-MAC was flat out unstoppable on the Magic, just his team was horrible.

Durant could easily be a double double machine given his length and wingspan he should easily grab rebounds. He just needs to hit the gym. 28-10 guy at his peak.

Durant is a scorer on the level of Kobe Bryant. He is a better shooter and is taller and longer. he may not be as quick but people need to understand this about basketball. If you can shoot long range as well as Durant can you have more time on your drives and with his length he can avoid blocks. His second year was just the begining. I doubt he ever grabs more than 7 boards a game now because his team is getting better. He will probablly average like 5 or 6 assist now and will be a 30 point scorer because he gets to the line and he should get better quality shots and maybe will do a Szczbiek a while back and be a perimeter player scoring over 20 that shoots at a 50 percent clip. Nash may have done this too. He will probably make 40 percent 3 points as well while shooting 88 to 90 percent on free throws. He will not need as many shots to get 30. I dont think people understand how good Durant is. Marvin Williams was hype to be this good but is more of a second third option guy. Durant is pure go to guy. He will be one of the next guys after Kobe and Lebron.

I would take Durant over Melo and T-Mac. Durant is more consistent and efficient than both of them and can fill it up with less shots. Durant creates opportunities for his teammates too because he is such a matchup problem and takes good shots and also pkays and underrated defensive game. Remeber, he just finished his second year on a cellar dweller team! I could see him being a member of the 25-5-5 club for a few seasons. In his prime he will never average more than 30 ppg or less than 24 ppg. As far as him being “the man” when Kobe and Lebron retire, it is still too early to tell, as there could be a player in high school right now that could be the next thing. You never know…

i’d say that for his career he will be a 27 ppg, 7 rpg, and around 4.5 apg… He’s going to be something special that’s for sure, and he will have a couple seasons where he will average over 30, but i don’t see him averaging 30 over his career… still averaging almost 26 points in your 2nd year!!! Yeah that shows that he is going to be special

As long as he stays healthy i feel he will be a 20,000 point guy. He has been injury free so far, but as lean as he is, i just hope he can stay healthy, im not an OKC fan, but he is a great young player and fun to watch

Let me say this and make my point. Yes, I think he maybe the one of the best scorer ever.

But, I hope that not all he becomes.

The label “Best Scorer” is good but he should aim for ” best all-around” at 6-10 and the ability to play SG,SF and a little PF is very rare at this time.

I think he will be a underrated MVP candidate and will be the clear-cut #3 player in the nba by the end of next season.

I think in his prime he could be a legit 25-7-5 player who gives you 45-55% from 2 and 35% from 3

He has the ability to be one of the best scorers ever and might lead the league for a while starting next year. An offensive robot who does it in a variety of ways.

Whomever says he will not average 30 points anytime soon wow are you serious. Taking my points because you are young and lack the knowlegde of the game is foolish. Number one Durant already had advance scoring ability. He is young. His second year numbers should be improved upon. Dude is like 20 even though he went to college was young for college. There is no way he does put on more weight or muscle and produce more. All the experts are saying how easy he scores. You add more weapons and make his the focal point and how does he not score 30. They will get more big bodies to rebound so he will not have to rebound over 7 boards. How is 30 points 5 assists and 6 rebounds not all around. Durant could do more but look at his team. OKC is more talented but younger than Cleveland. They need Durant to score and carry go to status. Durant has a size and length like T Mac and his mind set is going toward that Kobe level. He will be on their level but he needs to get stronger and add a post game. I can not understand some of you young uns that do not get that. It really boggles my mind. That is cool though.

I’m not saying he will average 30 points pg for his career because the guy hasn’t started his third year yet.But It wouldn’t surprise if he did.As states above he is in the gym all day getting better, with 3-4more years of experience under his belthe will be a top 5 player in the league which he is al ready close to being.I have high expectations for this kid
