OldSkoolBasketballParticipantHe hasn’t played a full 82 game season ever since he enter the league in 2005. He is great no doubt but guards like Williams, Rondo, and Rose are creeping up to him.

MagikKnickParticipantI think based on last season, with CP3s-injury aside, I think Deron Williams has surpassed him as #1
Rondo, Rose, are definetly on his heels as well..

IndianaBasketballParticipantDue to the fact CP3 has been injured this season, I say D-Will is the best point guard in the league as of right now. However, I do think CP3 will play with a chip on his shoulder next season and look to prove that he’s the best point guard in the NBA. I think he’s the best when healthy, despite D-Will’s size advantage.
Rondo and Rose are still a notch below those two in my opinion… And Westbrook is a notch or two below Rondo and Rose.

Charlie SheenParticipantCP3 needs a team like the one he had 2 years ago when they finished second in this West. Shooters around him a Tyson Chandler like Center and David West then he’ll be back to old form and the best PG in the league

DNYCEYes, he just has the weakest supporting cast out of all the elite point guards.

llperezi’ll still take cp3 although Dwill has to be the best of this past season. Rose, nash, rondo are all right there as well. ANd when Arenas gets his act together and comes back more focused then ever next year, he will be right there as well.

JNixonParticipantPaul has slipped alot of peoples minds since he’s been hurt. He’s the best PG in the NBA IMO. He could score better and set up guys slighty better than D-Will, and he was slightly less TO prone than Williams too. And all of that was with a much weaker supporting cast.

Stevenill put it into tears for you guys
Tear 1 (the best) Cp3 Followed by D. Will
Tear 2: Steve Nash, Rajon Rondo, Derrick Rose
Tear 3: Westbrook, M. Williamss, J. Kidd, C. Billups (wouldve been higher, but playoffs killed him for me) Jameer Nelson, Tony Parker
Tear 4: R. Stuckey, M. Ellis, A. Brooks, B. Davis (use to be the second tier) A. Miller, B. Jennings0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/11/2010 - 12:20pm #311834

llperezinkoball, you have to be the biggest douchebag on this site. You jump all over me saying i make stuff up because i confused al thornton with josh howard and said i was the latest victim to you calling out people and correctigt them. You then accuse me of taking points and said that people on this site have warned you about me taking points, yet you give yourself points after every post and then say you dont care about points. You called people who though cp3 was better then dwill “dick riders”. You are calling out steve to learn to spell tier. You are the biggest ass on this site hands down. Just thought i would let you know.

IknoBall12Participantwow im a douchebag becuz i call out mistakes? i mean i could see if im jus mean as hell and cussing ppl out but im not. half of the time im jus kidding and ppl take it wrong. actually not people jus u. and then u decided to write a whole paragraph talkin bad about me and im th ebad guy? hahahhaa. ur a clown hahaa. an di wasnt sayin becuz ur a cp3 fan ur a dickrider. u obviously didnt read my post well enough and understand. i said ppl fall in love with their fav players and often times dont have any fact to back up wat they say. and thats ur fault getting confused about al and josh howard dont try n get mad at me becuz ur dumbazz made a mistake

rtbtParticipantGregOdensKnees, CP3 never was the best PG in the league. Steve Nash was the best, but now that he’s getting older, I think DeRon Williams is number one with Rondo right behind him. And you could also make an argument for Derrick Rose, but I don’t think he’s there yet.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/19/2010 - 2:58pm #318157

midwestbbscoutParticipantPaul and Williams are still the best as of now but 365 from now this discussion will be about Williams and Rose….
and Steven must have forgot his special Tyreke Evans only tier….
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/19/2010 - 3:09pm #318169
jazznationpresidentParticipantRight now I’d have to say tha rondo is the man. I wouldn’t normally choose anyone over DWill but watching rondo deliver again and again in this years playoff has got to give him some more consideration. Granted with Ray, Paul and KG, he has an easy team to play with but he has just been tearing it up lately on the offense and defense sides.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/19/2010 - 3:21pm #318185

midwestbbscoutParticipantI reserve judgement on Rondo until he isn’t playing with a team that has stand by tickets for Springfield waiting for him…..

Are you crazy? I don’t even know what to say… Chris Paul was NEVER the best point guard in the league? Steve Nash was better? And now Deron Williams and Rajon Rondo… Maybe even Derrick Rose are better than him? You’re crazy…
Chris Paul has been the best point guard in the NBA for two out of the last three seasons. I’ll give Williams the edge this season since Paul was injured.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/23/2010 - 2:28pm #319905
Mr.BigShotParticipantDeron Williams is better, but if Paul keeps this up PG’s such as Curry, Wall. and Jennings could all be better than Chris Paul.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/23/2010 - 2:38pm #319909

JNixonParticipantWow, have y’all really forgot how good an actual POINT GUARD Chris Paul was before injury? He was the best PG in the game without question. Could score like a SG, and pass better than just about any of the PG’s in the NBA, and he was a playmaker on D (even though he was average on the ball for the most part). Stephen Curry, John Wall nor Derrick Rose will ever be better than Chris Paul when comparing Paul’s best with their respective bests.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/23/2010 - 3:11pm #319923

IndianaBasketballParticipant@Mr.6000
And he also rebounds VERY well for a 6′ 0″ guard. He averages five per game for his career. That’s more than Rajon Rondo, Deron Williams and Derrick Rose.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/23/2010 - 7:50pm #320016
bobbybParticipantI think it is too hard to compare, Nash, Rondo , Cp3 , D will, they are all great but their games are too different. It is almost like trying to compare DHoward with Yao( when healthy) they are both great centers but it is hard to say who is all around better, I

llperezinko ball, you went off on me for making a mistake. I will absolutely rip you a new ass next time you make the smallest mistake and see how you like it. 0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/23/2010 - 10:14pm #320056

sc0rebuckets11ParticipantI figure NO will listen to offers for Collison, and if they aren’t good enough.. they have to make it work somehow. I just can’t see NO trading CP3, he’s the face of that franchise.. so much more than just dribbling a basketball.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/24/2010 - 2:52pm #320301
IknoBall12Participantur gonna rip me a new ass huh? hahaha watever. and wat u mean when i make a mistake u gone rip me? u kno that will never happen becuz i dont make mistakes b*tch! i actually think before i speak unlike u. but yea i cant wait. go ahead an check all my post and look 4 a mistake cuz im sure thats wat ur gonna do. and as 4 this points shit ima jus give u a pt everytime u see u say sumthin an take a point from me everytime i say sumthin so u can see i dont give a sh*t about pts. you dumbf*ck
