    #2 for #6 and #11…
With CHA worry about Scoot fit along LaMelo and also with Miller off court situation the most logical action would be trading down and with 2 lottery picks take a full of potential guy in Ausar Thompson who is seamless fit to LaMelo while add another quality wing prospect in Bilal Coulibaly or Gradey Dick… in ORL prespective, giving up 2 loterry picks for Scoot is okay to live with, cause Scoot just feel like their missing piece, the future PG they long searching for and a one to form a One-Two Punch with Paolo Banchero for years to come…

In theory the trade could be a fair trade. Charlotte already does have a tone of picks though it seems. I can see something like that happening though.

I like the deal more for Orlando than Charlotte. The Hornets have only had 4 winning seasons since the franchise reformed and we are looking for reasons to pass on the 2nd pick. If they could trade down and land Amen Thompson I’d like it more personally. Could they do something with Houston who have some young pieces and future picks ?

We don’t know what Portland might do either as 3rd and 23rd pick for Orlando’s 6th and 11th could work too.

They should just pick Scoot. He’s a culture changing player and they need to change that culture more than anything. Lamelo has played with Rozier his entire career he can play alongside a high usage guard. Lamelo Ball is very talented, probably more talented than Scoot but he’s just a ‘cool dude’. Scoot’s a killer.

Brandon Miller but for the gun issue would be an easy pick and fit for the Hornets but with teams looking for reasons not to take Scoot it is surprising. Other teams have a more filled out backcourt than Charlotte so I still think Orlando could be the team to watch to trade up and take Scoot.

Also if someone comes calling about Lillard do the Blazers turn down a good deal there if they could get Scoot. I’d personally love to see Scoot and Lillard as a combo. One having a franchise guy to learn from and it potentially then extending Dame’s window.

I wouldn’t count out Indiana moving up or Utah too trying to make similar moves.

I don’t think #6 and #11 nearly equates to #2. It is fair to wonder whether Scoot and LaMelo would work, but Scoot has significantly more value than those picks. Just put a mock draft up. This site has Anthony Black and Keyonte George. It does not equate to Scoot. B/R has Black and Bilal Coulibaly. Yahoo has Black and Gradey Dick. The Ringer has Amen Thompson and Gradey. ESPN has Ausar Thompson and Gradey. The CBS duo have Ausar at #6 and split on Cason Wallace and George at #11. Not of these combinations result in equal return.

Honestly, if Charlotte was to trade away #2, San Antonio makes the most sense. The Spurs have an abundance of future first round picks (including one from the Hornets to go with Toronto, Chicago, a pair from Atlanta, and Boston) to trade. Pairing Scoot Henderson with Victor is worth the risk of what those future picks could amount to. In addition to the picks, they have Keldon Johnson and Devon Vassell to offer immediate impact. If San Antonio wanted to have two potential stars to build around, and then use more established young vets in free agency to complement them, I think they could make an offer for #2 that no other team could or would.

Orlando would have to sweeten 6 and 11 for 2 with a young player or take on a salary dump. Orlando doing something with Portland around 23 and 3 for 11 and 6 could be an outline option.

A fun draft night with Utah and Pacers making some moves would be like Ainge and Pritchard circa 2007 all over again.
