goodielecksParticipantWith a good workout, I can see Rodrique Beaubois sneaking into the late first. The success of Parker and more recently Rondo should make teams take a real look at him.

rtbtParticipantWe’ll know more after this weekend because there’s a very important Reebok Eurocamp starting today. For now, here are some of the top names to watch in no particular order.
Henk Norel [Dutch]
Jonas Jerebko [Sweden] – I think his father played @ Syracuse
Milan Macvan [Serbia]
Rodrique Beaubois [France]
Joe Ingles [Australia or England?]
Vladimir Dasic [?]
Nando De Colo [France?]
Victor Claver [Spain?]

gatorheelsParticipantI love how Josh & Bryant claim to know a bunch about international basketball but they won’t make predictions on who gets drafted. FRAUDS! haha I’m just joking. I wish you guys would give an opinion though since you both have played with some of these international prospects.

iguapops420ParticipantGuys I’ve had my eye on are
Nemanja Aleksandrov-Had potential knee injury set him back, never lived up to the Kukoc/Turkoglu comparisons. Nachbar maybe?
Tim Olbrecht-Haven’t seen a lot of this guy but from the few clips ive seen seems to be a pretty good athlete, good shooter, shotblocker, fairly skinny. Dirk comparisons a little high, but perhaps Bargnani?
Vitor Faverani-Athletic shot blocker with a decent motor. Some all around skills, as of now he’s raw, but def worth a second round pick.
Paulo Prestes-Kendrick Perkins. Enough said. The perfect Kendrick Perkins clone right down to the overweight issues leading up to the draft. The question is can he lose a few lbs. to reach his interior presence potential like Perkins or does he end up being Jackie Butler part2?
Sergio Lull-More of a scoring guard than a true point but def has some potential for the NBA. Good handle can shoot and get in the lane at a decent rate. definite swager. Defense? Decision-making?
Rodrigue Beaubois-Jack of all trades with potential to be a super-Duhon. Not quite the upside projected in terms of being a Rondo as he doesn’t have the true point guard game of Rondo at same age. Potential to be a Jason Terry/Leandro Barbosa type definiteley there.
Luigi Datome-Good athlete, fearless, good ballhandler.IMO, with more publicity, he could have been right there with Gallinari.Players I’ve heard of but either no as high on or haven’t enough info to go one direction or the other.
Boban Marjanovic,Emir Preldzic,Vladimir Dasic,Nando De Colo,Milenko Tepic,Artem Zabelin0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/05/2009 - 6:56pm #157342
